A properly primed trader would never run out of money. They'd always have something in reserve for unexpected opportunities. Get some profit under your belt, pull it out and start thinking things through properly.

When the market is crashing I'm panicking finding funds to buy more. Though putting other than spare money is too risky it is very tempting to just buy.

Several questions embedded here, will try to answer each one
>So many cryptocurrency markets are tanking... which means there are SO many opportunties to make money. But I can't buy anymore, because I'm all bought in. You can sell your weaker names to raise funds, i sold Dogecoin to raise funds for stronger names like LiteCoin, Factom, Ethereum and Lisk
>Do I now wait until we go to the moon (or at least another high)? Do I try to day trade this? There is always at least one market that has sold off and that you can buy cheap. If you wait too long your cheap market could run up on you. You can reserve a piece of your portfolio for short term trades and keep the rest as a long term buy and hold portfolio.
>How would you approach this? I would hold fiat cash and spare BTC in your accounts and be ready to transfer funds when needed. LiteCoin can be used as an asset pair at Cryptopia and transfers faster than BTC.
>The waiting is killing me and I want to play in the markets more! No need to wait on your trading, transfer funds from wherever you can even if you need to break your piggy bank with $100 of loose change.

So, I'm loving that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are crashing. It's been giving me plenty of opportunities to buy in on the markets. However, the markets are so low that I've bought ALL IN with my funds.
Here's the problem...
So many cryptocurrency markets are tanking... which means there are SO many opportunties to make money. But I can't buy anymore, because I'm all bought in.
Do I now wait until we go to the moon (or at least another high)? Do I try to day trade this?

In my opinion the prices will continue to go down so we'll have more time to buy cheap coins. Just try to make some money in the meanwhile and then buy... You may be right. The prices may come down in the coming days, but this is not a universal truth that this will happen exactly. I think you need to look out for some ways through which you can get a good amount of money in order to make the best possible use of the opportunity which is available to him.

Don't be greedy and don't let your emotions take over. If you don't have the fiat to buy more crypto then don't. Simple as that.

I agree with this... though, I'm not trying to be greedy - but it is a fun game. It's kind of like when someone is taking their turn at Super Mario Bros and you're just waiting your turn. haha

If you are sure about profit then it will be better to dispose your current investment, get benefit from potential investment in short span and then buy back the former investment and hold till it matures and give even better return. But all depends upon how sure you are with your potential investment. Mere intentions and emotions won't work out, you have to dig more and be sure about profits.

If you are all drained up and invested what you had then that's enough and you should not regret it the other way around. Trading, investing is subject to market risk and one should never go beyond what they can tolerate. Do not try to be impatient at this very peak period when the market is down and you have invested everything. You may end up with emotional trades or investment and might do stuff which is not meant at this stage. Let the prices start moving again and wait for the opportunity to come to you so that you can sell at higher rates.

You could always take out a loan.... or mortgage your home. Instead... learn to trade. Learn technical analysis. Learn to take low risk trades with high probability returns. Learn from a mentor. Once you learn how to systematize and operationalize trading, the rest comes out of execution. Its a system. The whole econonmy is a system functioning like a living organism. Learn how it works. Learn to profit. That is the key my friend. THAT.

There is no point of getting greedy and thinking of kore money every time. Sometimes you need to be little patient as well. I think if you think this thing that you can avail that opportunity in the best possible way, then you can go for taking money from someone else. But then you have to play very safely.

Where's the 'Like' button when you need it? This is a great rule to live by with trading. If you keep forgetting it, print it out at stick in on you monitor! ;p

I simply borrow small amount of money from my friends not to miss that buy opportunity. If the opportunity is big enough, I can even get bank loan from the local banks for this purpose.

I stay away from borrowing or margin, thats the easiest way to turn a little dip into a bloodbath. When I run out of money I take a long look at my positions and re-evaluate. If they are all still valid and I believe in them, then I delete Blockfolio from my phone and walk away from the computer for a few days

A trader can only throw away the computer by the side for days leaving an open market if he is a master of his game plan. Most times, the trades eventually ends in profit

I will suggest following things if you run out of money during such a great opportunity just like last week: Trade your altcoins for bitcoins. If you can take a loan from family or a friend take it to invest in bitcoins. In worst case scenario you can give your house on rent or lease to someone to have money.

I think we have to set emotions aside. We had a plan, invested in some alts and BTC and what we felt like was a fair part of "trade money" is gone. So for me if its gone its gone, i either wait, or i very very carefully sell something at a losse or small buy to adjust the portfolio. For instance, i had some coins that i´m in profit for USDT but loss in BTC. I decided to sell and move to another project. Some might say it is a bad bet as i´m loosing the king BTC, others good as they will argue that we actually leave evryday life from fiat. Just think carefully and don´t let emotions kick in.
