- A heavyweight bout between Justin Ledet and Dmitriy Sosnovskiy was expected to take place at UFC Fight Night: Bermudez vs. Korean Zombie. However, Ledet pulled out of the fight on January 26 alleging an undisclosed injury, and promotion officials elected to remove Sosnovskiy from the card. Subsequently, Sosnovskiy was removed from the card on September 10 and replaced by promotional newcomer Zu Anyanwu.

- An August 19 event (originally expected to be UFC 215) had two announced bouts, including a welterweight bout between Mike Perry and former UFC Welterweight Championship challenger Thiago Alves, as well as a middleweight bout between former Bellator Middleweight Champion Hector Lombard and Anthony Smith. After the event was canceled, both fights are now expected to take place at this event. In turn, Alves pulled out of the fight on September 13. He was replaced by promotional newcomer Alex Reyes on September 13.

- Bout between Felipe Arantes and Luke Sanders was pulled from the card due to Arantes fell sick of undisclosed illness and no replacement was found on time.

Thanks for making this thread. Some notes off the top of my head.

-Both Gilbert Burns and Sergio Moraes are multiple time world champions in brazilian jiu jitsu. Moraes could be a good test for Kamaru Usman.

-Anthony Hamilton is the betting favorite but was KO'ed in his last fight by Marcel Fortuna who took the fight at late notice and weighed about 40 pounds less than Hamilton.

-Zu Anyanwu was on Dana White's contender series about 2 months ago. If his name looks familiar that's likely where you saw him.

There isn't much drama or big news stories with this event. There isn't much that stands out about it.
