Hello all!
1st thanks for all that quality topics and replies from the community. So inspiring and rich in informations.
In these wonderful days of crypto begings, i want to share with you what is the ideal behavior to have regarding solid crypto like btc and eth, and hot ico's to invest.

Plan to invest in 2 solids crypto like btc, btc cash or eth - but need some light on the hot icos already installed or hot to come. Whitepaper is a good base but need some testimonials also.
Do you think 30k bct/eth and 20k on ico's is a good balance to start breaking my piggybank  Tongue?
Thanks for your advice/

Neo is a really bad desicion because, i think in the near future this coin will just disappear. I would suggest to invest wisely in projects with great teams and roadmaps. For example ARk, ETH and WAVES for me seems to be the best coins to invest in.

I think you should wait sometime before we completely hit bottom in all coins. After that point you can invest into ether, lisk and litecoin in my opinion.

My advice is to be happy that you're deciding to do this now rather than 3 weeks or so ago when BTC was I think almost $5,000.

25k$ in bitcoin and ethereum and 25k$ in altcoins and ICOs. If you don't want to take high risk follow fund projects like taas and other big portfolios that are open to public.

If i have 50k$ i will put half to bitcoin and half to ethereum, then i will invest in s9me ICO which i think has a good project and good team and advisor. You need to put your money to good project. And i will let the money there for 3 years from now..

I would say ETH, WAVES, QTUM and Monero. Use the Dollar Cost averaging do buy in slowly. Also take a look on the ICON World ICO.

It depends on your risk tolerance.

I've been investing in Crypto for 6 years and am lucky enough to have a 7 figure portfolio that is not just BTC.  (about 60%)

Lets step back and look at the crypto market.  Ask 100 people if they have heard of Bitcoin, 95% say yes.  Ask them what is it , 40% can tell you.  Ask them what Etherium is, 5% may be able to tell you.

That shows us that the adoption curve is still in phase 2 of 5.  IMO - ANY altcoin that is AROUND in 3-5 years, will see a very nice ROI.  So - find coins with a great team and product.

ICOs are great for timing the market and with short term flips, but unless you REALLY believe in an ICOs product and team, stay away.

Conservative approach.  40% BTC, 30% ETH, 10%LTC, 20% Altcoins in the top 25 in terms of Market Cap (WAVES, NEO, ARK, OMG, ETC)  10% for "play" ex: ICOs, day trading.

Aggressive, 20% BTC, 20% ETH, 50% altcoins, 10% ICO/Day trading.

I currently hold 22 coins, RARELY sell (this has been key - trust me on this - winners appreciate MUCH faster than anything you lose - ammortize $$$ evenly into tiers [ A = $XXXX B=XXX C=XX and spread it evenly. ]

Cheers

 -  The top choice is always the BTC. The current price is pretty cheap for you to buy when China has just played the world, making the BTC from $ 4,600 to $ 2,600.
 -  Next up: LTC, ETH, Stratis, LISK, QTum, Xrp, ... Prices are very low. Good time to buy them, potential coin can hold long.
 -  Especially XEM, it will have a lot of upcoming events in late September and October. A perfect choice:

+  SEPTEMBER 23 / #XEM / block chain MeetUp / Meeting with Jeff MacDonald Berlin.

  +  SEPTEMBER 25 / #XEM / Discussion meeting @nem and ex-coo @hsbc private bank.

  +  OCTOBER 3 / #XEM / Forum blockchain solutions Barcelona.

  +  OCTOBER 17 / # XEM / meeting 2017 Australia.

  +  OCTOBER 22 / # XEM / 20/20 conference in Las Vegas.

  +  October 24 / #XEM / blockchain Summit in Dubai.

I think this is the best time to buy Ethereum & Ripple as their price are pretty cheap right now.

in this time,  Btc price is low.  I think you may invest in btc.  not all of money. Left Money invest other coin. For Btc you will make some money,  i think.
