for clairity.. why are you using a self moderated thread? very rare is there a need for a self moderated thread if the project is valid!?
I've seen some threads that had HUGE amount of trolls around, so we had this understanding that it's better to have an option fo banning those people who are just flooding the thread with absolutely irrelevant information. Mods have been responsive, as well, but not as fast as it was needed (and I understand that, too many threads to look after). You are absolutely right here! Always if you have an innovative and potentially successful product or service, the trolls of the competitors will come and try to bad mouth it, especially as they are not really moderated here on bitcointalk. The key point is not to have a self moderated thread, the key point is if you will delete justified questions and criticism. It would be great if they paid someone to post this thread, but dev also needs to appear to moderate the thread, because only dev who most understand the concept of the project |
