The only reason why the Americans are not invading North Korea unlike nations such as Iraq and Libya is due to the fear of the nukes. The North Korea is already having the nuclear weapons and the ICBMs. If they want to nuke South Korea or Japan (or even Hawaii or Guam), then they can easily do that. But they have shown restraint. On the other hand, the United States remains as the only nation in the history of mankind to have used nuclear weapons against civilian population (1945).

In order for the USA to launch an attack on North Korea, it's going to be voted in Parliament or unless North Korea attacks a NATO member and they invoke article 5 of the NATO constitution,  though they keep launching missiles that in it itself is not an action of war, unless they do attack an ally of the USA will they be able to do something about it.

But the good thing is that right now only one Muslim nation is having access to nuclear weapons (Pakistan). Iran and Saudi Arabia are trying hard to build their own nukes, but I don't think that they will succeed. I think what they are waiting for is an opprtunity that clearly can point the blame towards North Korea if ever there would come to blows on this.
