The name is good but what about the truth of the statement ,whether it is true or not.The proposal of India's own cryptocurrency is excellent but our Indian Government is not able to understand the actual working and model of cryptocurrency. So till now it is still a rumor.

The Central government is considering a proposal to introduce its cryptocurrency similar to Bitcoin.

Sources close to the development said that the proposal was discussed by a committee of government officials, and the panel found the idea of setting up and running blockchain for financial services useful.

Whenever the decision is taken, the cryptocurrency will fall in the domain of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and some Acts such as the Currency Act might have to be amended. Hence, this will be a time-consuming process.

I don’ t know whether this will happen or not, but yes, the Reserve Bank of India has said that it is planning to launch its own blockchain network. If this will happen then the crypto market in India will be a regulated one which means there would be less scams and frauds.

Ah! Lakshmi , our Goddess of wealth! Instead of banning the usage of Bitcoin , making it official and available to users who are interested in BTC markets is a considerable act from Indian Government. Looking for this to come  in the market soon !

I have been hearing all this since past 5 years (or more maybe), but nothing happens.

What are your sources? How can you be so sure of all these things happening?
All I saw once was some Lakshmi coin getting developed and that was also going to be a mere copy based on previous coin algorithms and that too being developed by someone privately.
This news is complete bullshit .
