International windmill construction specialist Hugh Piggott from North West Scotland (www.scoraigwind.co.uk) is coming to Schloss Heinrichshorst (www.heinrichshorst.com) near Magdeburg to teach you how to build a fully operational windmill.

This is a hands-on workshop, so not just theory!!

Blade carving, coil winding, stator and magnet rotor creation, alternator assembly, tail fabrication and at the last day of the workshop erection of a 3 meter diameter windmill!

German windmills are usually so high like  a 40 story building. Sure there is diy possible? And we still pay 0.27 eurocent per kwh!!
