Cool concept, honest team behind it, but I am concerned about the business model, not user friendly enough considering all the competition out there. The average user does not care if cloud storage is on the blockchain, they want easy to use.

Because the Chinese traders had to withdraw their coins from exchanges like Yunbi, it resulted in much too much supply compared to the demand over the last 2 weeks.

Siacoin isnt worth it. They focused on bringing a ASIC miner to market over developing their project more. Filecoin will be the winner eventually.

My take on coins such as SiaCoin is that they have a very limited set of real world applications and that decentralized data storage is always going to be more expensive. As of now, none of the "data coins" is easy to use in spite of their explosion in price that is likely driven by speculation.
