"Every disappointment is a blessing" - Unknown

Japan has finally joined the crypto-currency race by giving licence to crypto-currency exchanges but with regulations to avoid experiencing another market collapsed by the market e.g. Mt.Gox

Coincheck’s application approved for Japan’s new bitcoin exchange registration
https://www.cryptoninjas.net/2017/09/13/coinchecks-application-approved-japans-new-bitcoin-exchange-registration/amp/

It's actually good news when exchanges get legitimated with regulations and licenses. I don't know why so much people hate on this. If you are going to have people buying BTC using the legacy system, at least let's make it the right way so the owners of the exchanges can't scam people trying to buy BTC.

I think the next step is for China to do the same, and China will be back once again with regulated exchanges and the price will pump to $5000, but if they don't ,we don really need them, we can pump to $5000+ without chinese exchanges taking part.
i definitely agree with this, as abiding citizen of our respective countries and users/investors/traders of cryptos we should respect the regulation of our government in order to protect each other from scams, we should not just care about the price of the bitcoin itself but also its integrity to the community since if bitcoin become famous but on a bad reputation it will just dip.

Yea,Japan has  endorsed around 11 exchanges or something. And it also becomes one of the friendliest bitcoin market. One hand you see,ICOs being banned in China and South Korea and  at the same time Japan licenses exchanges. Finally some good news for the bitcoin community this month.

Japan, the country is beautiful and the rules are also beautiful not like china. China and korea need to imitate their neighboring country.

As one of the most dynamic country in terms of economy, of course Japan will do something like that, Japanese government are thinking much more advanced that's why they've got to that point and it will be obvious that they will hug the block chain. This is a great new to all people and government ( a very good example ) that cryptocurrencies era is coming. Licensing it would take all the worries and doubt of some for bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

Japan has always been an adopter of new technologies. The way they inherited Bitcoin in their system will make other countries believe in Bitoin's potential too. This all will bring a positive wave in the world in regard to cryptocurrencies. Regarding exchanges, I believe government should get involved in exchanges matter for safeguarding the public interest and in preventing other illegal activities instead of banning Bitcoin for the same. I am glad Japan is working in that direction by giving license to trustworthy exchanges.

It is good to see the Japan government supporting the bitcoin community, this action will surely increase the confidence in the bitcoin market. With china releasing all the negative news about banning crypto-currencies exchange in their country, bitcoin price have been struggling a bit to recover to its previous high, maybe this piece of positive news from japan will push the bitcoin price higher.

this is very remarkable. If Japan has licensed bitcoin exchanges, then the Japan government has considered everything. and hopefully other countries do the same. and bitcoin value will rise even higher.

Don't you worry, the price of bitcoin will always rise no matter what. But this is very welcoming news to see that Japan once again is a step ahead with regards to bitcoin exchanges. So instead of shooting them down as what China did, the set up guidelines to be followed by their local exchanges. They are obviously moving forward and totally past the Mt. Gox problems. If anyone wants to moved to a country that is a safe haven for crypto's Japan will be a wise decision. I think more exchanges will open from Japan and they will become the center of bitcoin trading in the coming months.

I think Japan will take the leading role in community from China, if China`s government will ban exchanges, mining and Bitcoin at all. I like Japan`s style of working with future technologies and i think one day Tokio became capital of all cryptocurrency community and all mining powers will be there.
This is the best decision by japan by letting bitcoin into their community and this will help their economy more and many other countries will follow japan and will get into it Japanese gave their people a chance to earn more and stabilize  their finance and economy.

Wow, for me, Japan accepting and having bitcoin in their community is a big thing. Japan being great innovators of technology will outshine bitcoin. They can replace China and become the leading country in bitcoin, and I guess with this announcement bitcoin's price will likely and surely to go higher.

Maybe this news is the factor that makes the price skyrocket in a few days, I'm very happy with this and I think it is appropriate that japanese legalize bitcoin because the inventor of bitcoin is a japanese citizen.

Exactly, legalizing the exchange would actually bring fear to scam users and fraudulent exchanges would park up. This will also bring confidence in investing in bitcoin and more people would come in, the market would be stable for the people who don't have confidence yes.

That is a good news indeed. Bitcoin being legalized in Japan shows that bitcoin will be accepted too in the other countries but it will take time I think. There will be a time that all of the countries will be accepting bitcoin as a currency. Japan is a rich country and they have hi - tech devices already so I know they will be creating some devices or some things that will help the world of cryptocurrency.

finally! I was really worried they would follow along China, who is pretty much putting a lock on the entire crypto industry. What a shame really. Japan has already been an innovation center in all aspects of technological advancements, so it's not all too surprising to see them initiating this. Japan shows and other countries follow.. it's just a matter of time before more realize the important of the underlying technology and start at least regulating minorly the crypto space

The news could possibly be part of it but looking at the date this news came on board, I doubt if the impact was that much on the value of bitcoin. The main reason as we all know now is due to the upcoming fork and the fact that people want to gain from it. However, with so many legalization coming up in the future, the strength of bitcoin keeps getting better, that is for sure.

Where did you see that China has put a lock on crypto? I am not a supporter of legalization and I am sure that every step of bitcoin to legalization is removing him from his destiny. It was conceived as a free currency for the people and the state are trying to destroy the idea of bitcoin. If bitcoin will acquire the properties of the Fiat he will die.

It was very much expected and most of the experts were predicting this thing as well bitcoin is no doubt very profitable thing not only for the investors of bitcoin but also for the state to make its economic condition better. Japan has indeed taken a very wonderful step and this will encourage other countries as well to take such kind of steps.
