I want to buy 1 BTC with a UK bank transfer.

I have made a previous transaction where I went first.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

can you meet in London for a face to face transaction? I have 5 coins for sale, but I can't do Bank Transfer at the moment.
Or if you can get a friend to meet me near central London?
I can also do escrow for you if you are worried about being scammed by a seller. Just 1% fee.

You sent him the full amount right away? Did you send him via UK-BT or paypal?

And then you went first with someone who has only 15 posts in this forum, no reputation, and no reason to be trusted?

Sorry to hear you got scammed.

Do you still need the coin.
