I made the mistake of printing off that list as a text file....it's up to page 196 as I write.

Printing it?  On paper?  Oh my.

I am very concerned about this though....how in the world is this an issue?

How is what an issue?

How is it not a MAJOR issue?  What in the world did I do other than receive bitcoins?  How is that not going to be a major concern in the future when micro payments are the norm?

Micro payments (payments valued at less than a stick of gum) will most likely never be the norm.

Payments valued at small fractions of a bitcoin (when that small fraction is valuable enough to be worth more than a stick of gum) won't be a problem, because the necessary transaction fee will be reduced as the exchange rate rises.  It has already been reduced in the past.  It will be again in the future.

Ecore,
Try to answer all questions Danny is asking you! It will help him and others to help you better.
About listunspent: I followed his instructions and got the list.
I am running bitcoin-qt on a Mac, it will work the same on Linux. On windows it's slightly less easy, but you could install cygwin(http://www.cygwin.com/) and use unix commands too.
I copy/pasted the output of listunspent into a text file, called it listunspent.txt
I then did: grep amount unspent.txt|cut -d: -f2|cut -d, -f1|sort -n|tail -10
This gave me the ten highest amounts in listunspent.txt:
 2.50000000
 2.50000000
 2.50000000
 10.00000000
 10.00000000
 10.00000000
 10.00335000
 20.00000000
 24.67800700
 30.50000000

I leave it to Danny to help you further to prevent mix-up. Good-luck.

Got it.  Already determined that there are a total of 1887 unspent outputs in the wallet and that the 4 largest value outputs are:

How many outputs does your wallet have? 1887
What is the largest "amount" value of the unspent outputs in your wallet?  15.66883200,
What is the value of "confirmations" on the output with the largest "amount" value?  38243
What is the total value of all outputs in your wallet? hmmm...yeh.  I was prepared to add them all up by hand....lolz.  then I seen how many of them there were and I almost gave up, so you are awesome.

Shouldn't that last number be the amount of bitcoins that I have in my wallet?

If I recall the math properly, we should be able to fit 25 inputs into a transaction without exceeding the 10 kilobyte limit that triggers a required fee.

I've got to check the calculations on the priority though.  It'll take me a bit to import the numbers into a spreadsheet and work out the calculation.  I'll try to update this thread within the next half hour.

Yes. I was mostly just asking, because the last time I tried to help someone with an issue like this it turned out that the total amount of bitcoins in their wallet was less than 0.01 BTC.  Since any transaction that includes one or more outputs valued at less than 0.01 BTC require a fee, I discovered after spending a few days trying to help them that they wouldn't be able to avoid a fee until they acquired more bitcoins.  It is clear from these 4 outputs, that won't be an issue here.

I'll answer that one while Danny works on the more important stuff:
No, this list shows "all bank notes and coins" in your wallet, one by one.
Adding them all up will give you the total amount in your wallet.

And to see the total value of all the transactions in unspent.txt:

sum=0; for amount in `grep amount unspent.txt|cut -d: -f2|cut -d, -f1` ; do sum=`echo $sum + $amount|bc`; echo $sum; done

Copy/paste it in one line on your osx/unix/linux/cygwin command line with the text file unspent.txt in the current directory. The last line printed will show the total amount in your wallet according to all the transactions in unspent.txt

edit: I was using the filename listunspent.txt and unspent.txt at random: corrected that.

Ok, I've got a list of outputs.

It looks like we can create a transaction that will consolidate 52 unspent outputs into a single unspent output without exceeding 10 kilobytes and while keeping the priority above 57,600,000.  The resulting output will be 23.19255698 BTC.

I haven't tried creating, signing, and sending a transaction this large through the "Console" interface yet.  There may be a limit in how much text can be pasted into that interface.  If so, then we'll have to get it running in server mode for you so we can issues API commands directly to the server.

Here's the list of transactions that we'll be using:

Code:

Next step is to create the raw transaction.  I'll try to get that done quickly.  Maybe another 5 minutes or so.

Awesome.  I'm still here.

Integrated Distributed Ledgers
A whole world of different blockchains living together in a single network based on DAG. No more gates, bridges, portals or special nodes connecting blockchains into a single whole. Only one p2p network, consisting of blockchains of various types: from private for state and corporate networks to public for crypto projects.

Here's the "createrawtransaction" command:

Code:

If you look at it you'll see that it includes all the "txid" and "vout" values from the list I provided in my previous post.  It consolidates all of those outputs into a single new 23.19255698 BTC output sent to address 1EEq1NjWtnwoqANZZX2JLCCUY46wFgvfZ8.

That address is where the 15.668832 BTC output was previously sent to your wallet.  If you would prefer to send this total to some other address, we just need to replace the 1EEq1NjWtnwoqANZZX2JLCCUY46wFgvfZ8 in the command.

Running the createrawtransaction command above in the Console should result in the following output:

Code:

That output is the unsigned raw transaction in byte form.

The next step is to sign the transaction.  I can't do that, since I don't have the private keys from your wallet.

You need to issue a command in the wallet of:

Code:
signrawtransaction unsigned_raw_transaction_in_byte_form

Replacing unsigned_raw_transaction_in_byte_form with the actual unsigned raw transaction in byte form above.

If I haven't made a typo anywhere in the createrawtransaction command, then the wallet should respond to the signrawtransaction command with:

Code:
{
"hex" :
"signed_raw_transaction_in_byte_form",
"complete" : true
}

Where signed_raw_transaction_in_byte_form is a new signed raw transaction in byte form (a huge list of letters and numbers like the unsigned raw transaction in byte form, only longer).

If you get an error message, or it doesn't state:
"complete" : true

then I've made a typo in the createrawtransaction and I'll have to figure out where.

Is that a 0 fee transaction?
Ecore may have that heart attack if the trasaction gets stuck.
