I think the best thing to do when the price keep on dropping is to keep on buying and everyone should grab the opportunity to buy in dips. Don't panic because once you do that you will regret. In my opinion the better we can do is to sell the 50% of your bitcoin, to assure that before deep your handling coins you have secured the half of it. Moreover, when the time bitcoin starting to raising up again just buy some of it. That's is simple trading and I assure you that you earn income not lost.

Try to judge the reason behind the dropping and if it's probable that the coin is goinging to drop too much, sell it immediately and when it drop to very extent, but it back but this is a suitable strategy for only top rated coins. like few days ago when BTC price fell because of china ban on ICO and exchanges, BTC fell to about half price and after sometime it started to recover.

Nothing we all know the reason for the price to drop it is because of various activities taking place in china just hold we did see the price fall to 3000$ but now you can see how quickly the price recovered don't panic the price fall is because of a particular region and not the whole world always remember when the price drops just hold don't cut your profits

Staying calm would be a wise thing to do in that kind of situation. There is no use in selling while everything's going down, you will only löse. What you need to do is wait till things make dip and buy some cheap coins , eventually things will turn back to normal and you will probably be a richer man than you were before the fall.

In general i am long term holder, however i have a small number of coins available for trading (and trade whenever prices drop).
In the case of dropping i sell and wait it to drop further and buy again resulting in increasing my coins.
This does not always work in favour of course. Few times it happened that while dropping i sold and then price increased. I was just waiting for the price to drop again and buy. Was happy enough to get almost the same number of coins i had before. Do not panic to sell.
Keep calm and whatever goes down will go up eventually.
