Everything here seems legit to me but I would like to see the actual people in the team in one youtube videos, they all look like professionals in their filed to me I'm still a newbie and cannot yet participate in the signature campaign but will follow this thread as this is an interesting concept.

Hi Saisher. Thanks for the honest words! We are really trying to lead this project in a very transparent and open way. Regarding the videos, at the moment, we are all a bit dislocated through different time zones and our Social Media Activites are heavily focused on visuals and content production, but we will soon be rolling out a video series of our team speaking about the project starting from the "digital" headquarters here in Croatia.

Croatia?

Does this hint us where the casino will be?

Haha! Sorry, I can't confirm that hint... All will be disclosed very soon! Croatia although is the location where one part of the team is operating from (Including myself) Smiley

Definitely on the south they need a casino or resort... nice idea  Wink Wink Grin

What I think is that it should be in Croatia. Part of the team is there, and the country has great growth potential in the tourism sector.

All in due time guys. Soon you will know Smiley

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

What is the MAIN difference to other casinos like FUN. I like FUN especially, because they are totally transparent regarding their games ... the game mechanics are open source etc. I am just wondering what Providence brings to the table ... what advantages?

Hi mate! So since you mention the FUN casino, I’d like to start from there. We are aware of all our competitors in the market Smiley

1) They use 3rd party game provider called (Softswiss) they are based in Switzerland and provide flash games. Although they say they are provably fair it's not possible to find a game hash or seed anywhere when you play games except the slots machines but we may be wrong. My technical lead Ivan said that there are also proofs on internet that they don't actually implement it at all, so for the players to decide.

2) They accept only Bitcoin because softswiss supports only bitcoin and they depend on their deposit processing. We have bitcoin, litecoin, eth and Pve tokens with bitcoin and litecoin allowed to be deposited with 0 confirmation. (lightning network)

On the other hand, we at Providence are covering both worlds, PHYSICAL and online. In regards to our online casino having these benefits

The Providence Online Casino will have latest implementations regarding technical background and performance. The key aspects that will rolled in our initial launch of the platform will include:
0 confirmations required on deposits
All games implemented using Provably Fair system
Multi-currency (BTC, LTC, ETH, PVE)
3 games available in the start (Blackjack, Dice, Roulette)

On top of that, we intend to connect the physical and online casino. On that note, one major milestone that awaits Providence after the roll-out of the casino and hotel is a unique approach to games that will surely differentiate us from other online casinos on the market. We will be introducing a set of custom games that will be tied to the actual physical location and venue of the physical casino. A first concept of the game that is in research & development will be simple “binary betting” on actual player performance in the physical casino. Imagine that, at any moment in time you will be able to see players that are participating in the live games and bet on certain people with certain outcomes. You are not participating in the games itself but betting on your favourite “hot-streaker” and high rollers.

Example 1.
A person enters a table or a game with a certain amount of chips. You can place a binary bet if this person will win or lose in the next round or dealing of that particular game.
Several other concepts that are still in idea & feasibility stage include staking the house edge and increasing the odds for your gamers or margin betting (borrowing your bankroll to players) to increase winnings for both players. In addition, we will also engage our community and token holders to submit proposals and ideas how we can expand our gaming palette and offering. All implementations and milestones will be outlined in the roadmap section and further technical details in the technical approach section.

And... maybe even a VR representation of that. But it is still in disscusion and idea phase. Step by step!

"As you already know, online cryptocurrency casinos have taken off, but there's currently almost no place you can go to physically spend your cryptocurrency on gambling"

I hardly find any offline gambling place that can be used for gambling using cryptocurrency, very impressed and grateful if providence provides the facility to physically gamble using cryptocurrency, but what about the state that prohibits gambling? is it you can make a branch there?

Someone has been reading the whitepaper! Cool. Regarding your question about prohibition, the current location where we will be opening has laws and jurisdictions in place for gaming and gambling activities are fairly liberal and are actually quite good across Europe for that matter (https://www.gamblingsites.com/online-gambling-jurisdictions/europe/). New branches will, of course, look for such keen jurisdictions firstly but this is set only later for expansion plans.

You shouldn't expect that they will immediately strive to change the law.

I see minimum amount of PVE that you have to buy  during presale is worth  10 ETH,pretty big amount. Is it set up that high because of hefty presale bonus,or there is some other philosophy around that?

There are two reasons. One is indeed as you said, the hefty bonus that we give out to early contributors. The other is that we want to attract more "stronger" and confident investors for the pre-sale while we will completely lower the amount on 0,05ETH for the main sale. It is also an indicator for us how good are we standing on the confidence level and marketing efforts until now.

Hey Chocobo,

actually yes! As we will be having an exchange, we intend to onboard different token pairs (maybe even other casino-related tokens) and offer the users to ability to switch those tokens in that moment and use it for games. This is, however, dependant on the liquidity of those tokens. For straight deposits to the casino, we will see which ones could be integrated after the "main" ones are operational.

If I got it right, in the online casino we will be able to use LTC, ETH, BTC and PVE, but what with a physical complex? Can we buy chips with any of them or just with PVE? If visitors can use any of them, I guess they will use BTC or ETH instead PVE.

I think the question has already been answered - you will be able to buy PVE with the listed coins and then buy chips with PVE.

Oh it seems like I missed that answer... thanks! well, that's great, that way, every day of casino operation, trade volume should be high. I guess online casino will have other coins because it will be out before token distribution happens? According to roadmap on website

This is very good for this project and for the other coin that you will integrate the last casino coin I've used and hold is Rbies it has a good run of success and I hope this project will also attain that success.

I'm glad I stumbled on this thread. As I've missed out on the other casino related ico's.
I like the branding, the vision and team seem ready to take on the industry.

I'll be watching this project closely.

I'm glad you stumbled upon us! And thanks for the nice words. Regarding branding, I could talk all night about it. We have taken a very minimalistic yet profound approach to our UX and UI design with 3 main colors of black, white and flaxen/gold as call to action. We will try to extend this approach to our online casino also and differentiate us away from the current ones which are overwhelmed with banners and various illustrations and "cartoons." and bad UX design.

We would like to stay a more elitist brand with a customer base that instantly sees that. Like you! Smiley

By the way here is a sneak peak of the landing page for the online casino. (Still WIP so changes possible)
