How to close a position by settling position on poloniex?

Hello to all cryptomaniacs.
I searched and couldn't find info if i can close an open position by returning the advanced funds directly from my margin account balance with no trade involved on poloniex. I can do it easily on Kraken.
Let me give you an example. I shorted 100 eth and now have an open position. Can I close this position by providing 100 eth from my eth balance (without actualy buying eth to close this position)?
Explanations are appreciated.
