App store is big yes but i think it there is a place for Open Money to break it. Yes of course Open Money has a lot to prove against a giant like Apple but the new economy movment is on and i think companies like Apple will be lost soon. It may take some time but i really think Open Money will be a great competitor

For internal purchases, the fee is very high. The regular payment system has a commission of 1-2%. The 30% is the sign of a monopoly. OpenMoney with they API and simple integration process have a lot of chances to take a piece of this market.

I didn't realise that their cut was as much as 30%.
I can understand part of the initial costs to get your product to a large market but to take 30% of any micro transactions afterwards is just plain greedy.

Any product that will take a chunk of the big players profits I fully support. They definitely need knocking down a peg or two.

Im new one with all this crypto world and don't have iphone, Im using windows phone. But why not? Why OpenMOney can't do it? The more ways for person to pay, the more people will buy something< so it should be good for app store.

I am not a developer but I do understand the hard work and the creativity required to be able to come up a marketable app. The thing is that popular platforms for apps are making a killing out of other's hard work and this should not really be the case. While they should be making money, we should get the most money to the developers as they are the ones who toil and sacrificed to come up with their apps. It is high time that we disrupt this kind of system.
