If you ask me the best time to buy bitcoin already came to pass. A few days ago it was sub $3000. Now we are testing $3700 and quite possibly go to $4000. But the trend nowadays is largely affected by bad news so it can go either way. I've read somewhere that the sell-offs might start again soon. Or not. What I'm trying to say is thread very carefully.

I strongly not recommend to invest in any cloud mining programme as the roi for short contracts is very very small, or even negative. I'd recommend to invest in altcoins instead to diversify the portfolio.

Lol. Dude, just hours of prices rising on the market isn't something you can trust. Everyone who have been here long enough would tell you just the same. As for me, I am still observing and waiting for the biggest dip bitcoin can go.. Although it might seem impossible for now, I just want to be sure before i throw in some hard earned money into bitcoins. But even saying such, i have already bought some at the last dip few weeks earlier. So i hope the prices really do continue to go up.

I am not quite sure about my opinion earlier, but the Spring just came now. I am still waiting time to Buy at bottom-End of 3rd. See you on the next 4th wave at 4.6k Peak. If this situation stable in Gradient-line, do not surprise with 5th and 6 th Tsunami Wave

this is the nature of the bitcoin itself that the price could dropped fast but very possible climb up rapidly too but i think currently buy small amount to see the market movement also to avoid huge loss because i personally don't really sure the storm has ended and i fear this is only a trap to makes people buy again

Just short-covering. People went short last week on the China news, and now they are closing out those trades by buying back lower. But if everyone does this at the same time, you get a surge of buying that pushes up the price.

Just a peep at the price shows the recovery is strong but the concern is if the current trend can be maintained up to the ealriee point where the crash occurs and the reason is because while we are rejoicing that the recovery is happening, to someone who bought at $4900+, its not any where close to his target and they should be commended for not dumping when the going was tough.

Or, another case due to recent good news about bitcoin acceptance in South Africa's second largest Supermarket Chain Pick n Pay which supported by electrum platform and Luno exchange [1]
Or, Japan as the first Country that has legalized bitcoin as legal payment method in their country which encourage citizens, business and companies to provide-transact bitcoin payment which has growing and take over the power from China.
At least you know that buy and sell bitcoin in short time is a gambling activity where many people lose in this game, only if you are panic sell less than the rate as you've bought in the first place.

This is bitcoin we are talking here anything can surely happen and I think this bad news that occur is just a coincidence, and china is the only one that is aware of it, I myself don't have any idea in whats gonna happen with the price of bitcoin back then, and I was the one of the many users that keep hodl of their bitcoin and just wait for the value to come back again, well there is an opportunity in earning in it but I don't usually take out my Bitcoin when I don't really needed money but there is always this idea that even if the value drops it will always turn the tables around and come back.

Price is again on the way up but that doesn't mean it will stay so and there will be no more corrections. As soon as people realize volatility is normal process related to Bitcoin, the better and we would avoid such panic and drama situation in the future. We need some more educations about cryptocurrencies. So, think on long term and don't emotionaly react on every price dump. That is the receipe.

Just short-covering. People went short last week on the China news, and now they are closing out those trades by buying back lower. But if everyone does this at the same time, you get a surge of buying that pushes up the price.

I'm sure that short-covering/buying back in was part of it.  I also think that a lot of people were waiting for $3k, which was being thrown around a lot as a pullback bottom prediction.  But I think the bounce was also because of an end to the uncertainty about whether or not China was going to ban bitcoin.  Financial markets generally hate uncertainty, sometimes more than they hate negative news.

It could potentially make it over $5k since the current pump indeed seems pretty strong(up in nearly double digits over 2 days consecutively). The recent FUD that we've experienced could just be a temporary pullback with no longstanding effects.

The resistance is strong though, at $4k.

I wouldn't advise buying a lot because even if bitcoin does go up, it's not going to be as crazy gains as we've experienced earlier this year. Best to either only buy using a fraction of your fiat or just wait it out with the Chinese news.

Now is probably not the best time to buy. It's a good time but not a GREAT time.

If you're looking at the long run then i would say with the uttermost confidence that if you were just going to save your money in a bank anyways you're much better off buying into bitcoin right now. It'll make you much more.

However i feel like $4k is still somewhat overvalued. The price could get down to $3000-3500 just with a little bit of FUD. If you want to accumulate, then wait for the FUD to come out and buy.
