Hoping to snag some more before the weekend ends. It appears prices have stabilized, but which is the best bet for a two or three week position? This is a small buy.

Why go short? I think the shorting opportunities are over for the moment.

All of them appear to move the same currently, so if you really want to, any of them should be fine.

In 2-3 weeks I think some of the other Chinese exchanges said they are going to be stopping business for the Chinese citizens. I don't know what effect this will have on prices, but I'm thinking it will cause another dip. Probably not as big as when the original announcements were made, but a dip all the same. Also, if you watch the news for these three coins right now any news coming out is having effects on prices so you might be able to catch something there.

Just realized i misrepresented my question. Which will have a higher x/BTC ratio in a few weeks- ETH or LTC?

I think from now until DevCon3 ETH will have an opportunity to go back on a bull run. A long awaited hard fork is in the pipeline and more and more news will be coming out about the details.

for me its better to go with eth as we knew those ico coins will bring the value to rise up and with more development from the team it will again
surpass ltc, its better to hold eth together with your btc investment.

If you are planning on purchasing a coin that will go up in value in a short amount of time then I would suggest that you purchase Bitcoin. You might have a chance of making some money by trading Ethereum with another coin as well though with the rapid movements of Bitcoin the prices would make you money much faster than you would think.
The price of Bitcoin might not go up immediately though if you lose your investment by trading it out then you’re done for. If you keep your Bitcoin then the price goes up later then you would make money either way.

BTC is generally the least volatile of cryptos so for for short term hold period and trading, ETH or LTC
will have bigger percent moves.

Not ETH at the moment because there is a fork coming up, and I think price will drop. For short trading you don't need a big coin though. Maybe have a look at something smaller, that's where the big opportunity for high returns is.

In most of cases I would agree with you. I previously made successful long-term investments but my attempts to do trading made me lose 20% of initial investment. Yet I believe that sometimes it is possible to get up to 2x profit short-term. eth, ltc and btc are not good for that, though. I would recommend buying dogecoin, I'm sure it will be worth twice as much soon. Another coin to buy short-term is probably monero, it is likely to give fast 30% profit.

will never go for short because it only give you a little profit but big risk to lost, buy coin in their dip and wait for long term. after you feel the experience you will know the different between short and long term

It's harder to make short term prediction lately. Market is still to shaky to investing big money. I would personally wait till the things are settled a bit before going in.

I would split between them two as they are both in they're dips for some time and likely to regain their power in a short while. I am currently holding bags in both the coins and that doesn't worry me a bit... They're both solid. Actually I like ltc even more than eth somehow. Cheesy It is silver as they say...

I dont really like short term trading. Considering BTC, ETH and LTC, I think both BTC and ETH are for long term holding once you buy them at low price and sell high. For LTC, I personally dont have any opinion since I dont like it nor do I trade on it. If you are really interested in short term trading then I suggest you to take a look at the upcoming ICOs which are about to end and going to exchanges soon. Do some research on them and list which ones are going to be pumped or dumped soon.

It is hard to tell with your choices given, bro. I think LTC as well as both BTC and ETH are long term investments. Or moderate if you want. Not very short term such as days. I prefer you look for great pump and dump coins and spot the one that is at its lowest.

If you're looking for short time trading, Bitcoin is still a better choice for that, In one day, it can rise more than 10%. But you need a big capital to earn big profit. I'll suggest you to looking for ETH and BCH. ethereum seems to be slow motion, but its fluctuation isn't difficult to predict. Same as bitcoin cash, it's still cheap now, while it's ATH was $1k. But actually, Cryptocurrency are best for long term. You could be miss big profit if you're doing it in short term. But its your call.
