I really like how major publications are starting to refer to Bitcoin with a lower-case "b"

I'd love to see Liberty Reserve get the same punishment as the last low-down, dirty money-laundering financial institution that had the nerve to launder Billions and Billions of dollars...

HSBC... Who was found guilty of laundering for the Mexican drug cartels and then made to pay an itty-bitty, laughable fine, while news was kept quite about it all.

This is why Bitcoin is critical, any operation with a physical presence or a single name to go after will eventually have the authorities coming after them.  The government (all governments) hate competition

True. It's sad to watch how quickly the US is becoming as totalitarian as any eastern-bloc nation ever was. The only way to survive this type of targeting under the current administration is to fall under Mr. Holder's definition of "too big to prosecute". Otherwise any one of number of agencies can and will gladly crush you using a variety of diffuse and broadly interpreted regulations.

It's anyone's guess who's next..
