blockchain.info wallet on iPhone - no transaction fee

I'm using the blockchain.info wallet on iPhone.  The first 2 times I used it, it automatically added a transaction fee of .0005 BTC.  The 3rd time, it didn't add ANY transaction fee.  As a result it took MANY HOURS to get confirmed.

Is there any way to make it always use a transaction fee?

Not with the iphone app. I think you have to log in on a proper desktop and access your profile. From there you can select no transaction fee and longer confirmation times, standard transaction fee and I think the third option is a custom fee.

I've looked at the web interface and don't see these options anywhere.  The only way I can see to specify a transaction fee is when spending from the web interface and that only seems to apply to that single transaction.  I don't see any "options" page that has a transaction fee setting.

I've changed my settings to no transaction fee but my iphone app still charges. I don't think they are sync'd very well!
