Account Hacked - Admin fee offered for recovery

My Bushstar account has been hacked and there seems to be nothing that I can do as I do not have an address to sign messages with to prove I am who I say I am, I've not actually managed to get a response from the admins at all. Please do not hand over any coins to that account for promise of any work, if I ever get it back I'll post here that it is safe and recovered. This is a major problem for me.

I can also make changes to GitHub or respond to my personal email address. These details are easy to find out about me, if anyone wants to get old school I could verify my address by post.

If anyone is able to return my account to me I will be happy to pay an admin fee of 0.1 Bitcoin.

Can you sign a message from a ftc address? I left it negative and banned it but only theymos and cyrus can restore access to it.

Exact same thing has happened to me. I also know Peter outside of this forum, so if there is anything i can do to help with the verifications i will

My next question is this.

Why are our account getting hacked like this? After the last major forum leak i updated all my passwords.
Has there been another leak as it seems a lot of higher profile members account have been stolen recently...

Most get hacked because of not changing their passwords after the forum leak but if you changed that then it could be from anywhere.

Some sort of 2FA for account changes should be mandatory on this forum. Considering there are over 1million members the amount of damage these assholes can do to legitimate business with a stolen account, its crazy

A new forum is in development with several 2 factor options so that's why it hasn't been implemented here.

That will explain it then, I was getting a bit paranoid about the whole thing. I can sign with a Feathercoin address if I can ever find where I've posted one, I have never asked for donations that I can remember unless it has slipped my memory. If I ever get my account back I'll certainly add my Bitcoin address to it.

I could add a FTC or BTC address to the Feathercoin repo and sign with that address?

That would show that I have access to the Bushstar GitHub account and the Feathercoin repo, but still if it needs admin to do something about it and they are not interested then I'm somewhat stuck.

The problem isn't lack of interest, but the recent influx of recovery requests (not having enough proof in most cases doesn't help with the investigation either). I Replied to your PM.

wow, a fee should not be imposed to anything related to hacked accounts.  I know that we are the one who should look after our accounts, but there are really good hackers that can destroy or manipulate it... So what the heck.  That service should be free. because they control all the accounts in here....
