DOGE is a coin based on a meme and the hype is gone. It was not meant to be a serious coin that would last forever.

Dogecoin is a coin which is really useful for small transactions. I myself use dogecoin whenever I want to send small amounts. I wonder why dogecoin is falling. Price might increase in future. In any case I think dogecoin is one of promising altcoins.

To be honest, doge coin created at the first is just for fun. And people got hyped then it has value. But in this new era of crypto doge coin technologies is obsolete thats why people does not use it annymore and also no further development at it.

Can be use for quick transaction if you are a traders and a gamblers too, with less fee I guess some gamblers considered using doge as their base for their gambling activity aside from that I don't have any other idea why investors will use it.

Has dogecoin ever been consider a real reliable coin?
Dumping at extreme levels 

It is a meme coin at its best and was able to survive in cryptoworld because of the loyalists that supported it. It is an "okay-ish" coin when the market is bullish and all is well but when the blood in the streets became prominent because of China FUD, people will undoubtedly sell this coin. It has no real value and no development plan. I must say, it is not good to invest in here when the market is still like this. It's better to stay away from it and let the market recover.

Buying at the bottom levels would be nice in the future but as you can see, the BTC market is still struggling and we still don't know if Dogecoin already hit the bottom. Take appropriate care in trading this coin.
