We're creating the new SHIT token that we will be distributing to people who invested in the shitty ICOs.
Here is the main thread about the SHIT token: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2174052.0

For the very first distribution we would like to pick absolutely the worst and the most shitty ICO in the history of crypto.

Which ICO was the worst?

Here are the great candidates from the thread below:
  • OPHION
  • Bitcad
  • authorship
  • Monkey
  • OPAIR
  • EBITZ
  • SHOPEO
  • chronologic
  • Voxelus
  • LUST

SHIT token. Listed on exchange! Free airdrops. 999 Trillion tokens.

"Which ICO was the WORST and the SHITTIEST in the history of crypto?" - asks the CNBC reporter looking for stories to finally get that raise and praise from his masters when he finds a clever way to discredit crypto.  Remember "crypto is not for you" ...buy USA equities!

Yes, that's the coin that was an inspiration for the SHIT token. Our goal is to distribute most of the tokens to the people who invested in shitty ICOs. It would be hard to do the same with the prof of work coin that multiple people mined since 2013. Ethereum ERC-20 token fits best for this. And we are NOT CNBC reporters Wink

Great, another "JesusCoin", fuck you and your project. It's not doing any good. Make something with real-world use and come here again..
What happens after you distribute 1Trillion tokens? They would cost like 0.0000001 satoshi..

look at amount raised compare it to current marketcap, the ones that are far below what it raised id say hurt the most for investors in those projects, a little research and youd beable to answer that question yourself.

What do you mean, in terms of organisation? Of it's construction/business model? Or the worst scam.. which isn't really an ICO so I guess you can ignore them for this award.
Possibly the customer service?

As long as i understand the sonm will be the worst ico ever and the price is very low comparing with the ico price and i think that was really suitable to determined as the worst ico in this year, there are some others project that already followed the sonm project such as who that already raised a lot of money in the crowdfunding.

Dear all Ophion Investors and Members,

Due to legendary idiot member Hueristic (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=198573), We are having a hard time continuing developement or getting interested parties involved with development. We have now just lost one of the exchanges because of his messages. He is ruining what Ophion could be for you.

Ophion is to be developed by 2 people I know well and have worked with (Still in discussion about payment) But our communication is good. We can continue this project but I really dont know how much we can make from it now as a bit of fud like this can turn people off.

Hueristic is throwing accusation at everyone and everything and lying himself to make our project look bad. We dont know what his problem is. We have no other choice but to stop the project. We are unable to fully pay everyone back due to the fact we have used funds for Marketing (Community Manager, Sig Campaign), Servers, Developers, Translators and more. But we can pay back what we can.

If you are out of pocket, This is Hueristic's fault, not ours. we only wanted to make a good project for the community, but I guess that is not possible with such trolls. I am out of pocket myself also.

Regards,

Sebastian Bates

Depends on what you define as WORST & SHITTIEST.

There are coins such as the JesusCoin which are purely meant to be a joke but still manage to gather substantial amounts of money.

There are also coins like the Useless Ethereum Token which literally says that it does nothing but still has gotten some money.

And then you have coins that scam people by not pulling through with their ridiculous promises. If you Google around a bit I am pretty sure you will find a lot.

I believe waves devs just took the ico and ran, i'm sure there a re quite a few of these.

Well, there are a lot of shitcoins that scammed a lot of people and just made promises and never fulfilled them. Some examples are on top. And the list is growing. It's really sad how people do this just to fill their pockets at the expense of other people. These people who do not want anything but to have a better life for their selves and their loved ones are the target of these heartless bastards. Sugarcoating everything so these poor people invest everything they have and gamble with the promises. Then end up losing everything. I hope karma crawls into these shitcoin developer's lives and suffer.

Great suggestions! Thanks.

It's easy to filter out all the ICOs by how much the token lost in value. But devs might still be working hard and honest on the project. Yes, it's not a good sign that the token lost that much in the value, but we probably shouldn't call those ICOs the shittiest in the history of crypto.

JesusCoin, Ferrari coin, UET are not the best ICOs but they are usually honest. So not really what we're looking for.

Big and loud scams are definitely the worst offenders. This is really shitty and wrong. The worst ICO in the history of crypto is probably in this category.

So far we have:
  • OPHION
  • Bitcad
  • authorship
  • Monkey

BTW, do you know in which ICO Adam B Levine invested and it turned out to be scam?

The worst ICO are ICOs which want to scam investors and all people who helped them to promote their project.
There were OPAIR, EBITZ, and recently SHOPEO is the one closest scam ICO.
As long as they aren't scamming their own investor's money, even though the name sounds crazy, it's better than those scam ICOs.

Those ICO that are hosted by unpopular cryptocurrency exchanges and only gains a little amount of money are usually ended up becoming crap and valueless, atleast if we're talkinga bout legit ICO that's worst.
talking about scammy ICO, there's many, but people have learnt how to avoid these by always following the hype and knowing the past of the devs, no more stupid ICO appear atleast.
