I am currently using Minergate and the benchmark test says its good enough to mine coins worth $50 dollar a year.
Can the PC do better with some tweeks or a different miner..
Any constructive advise is appreciated..
Looking to mine ETH if its a good idea!!

Much Appreciated..

Sounds like a laptop - you're not going to do much better if so and you're likely to FRY the thing from overheating over time.

If that's a DESKTOP using a "mobile" Nvidia chipset card for some reason, upgrade the card will make a big difference.

It's a laptop, forget about mining, you will just lower it's lifetime for a negligible profits.
Not to mention that you can't mine much coins with 1GB of RAM.

You already got your answer. $50 a year. It is up to you to say if that is worth it or not.
Keep in mind that laptops have a much harder time dealing with temperatures, it might be a wiser idea to sell that laptop and try to get a real card for a desktop pc. Even a relatively cheap 1060 can make you around $40 a month before electricity.

As others have already said, since it is a laptop I wouldn't worry about trying to mine much with it unless you are just fooling around seeing what it is all about. If you try to run that 24/7 I think you will have issues and may eventually burn up your laptop, as they are not designed for continuous operation, much less under the load that full time mining would put on it.

Try building a desktop with discrete graphics that has plenty of airflow.
Lower temps will help prolong your hardware and your laptop really inst designed to do mining (more for portability which a mining really doesnt need to be).

Thank you for the comment.. You got me there.. I realized it was not worth it within the first few days but I wanted to mine something myself.. I mined some Aeon and XDN /... just the minimum quantity so that I can withdraw.. Since I am new to this I though its was a good idea to get advise from the forum..
Much Appreciated

Using laptop to mine bitcoin in 2017 will not going to make you any significant profit. You may not be able to make up to $10 in a month. I will advise you to buy good gpu for your mining farm and you will make good profit especially if you can access free  electricity.
