45kbps is not enough to mine on.
neither is a 145 sempron. if i was you i'd go with a online wallet service. you can buy BTC from mtgox.com

My negative trust rating is reflective of a personal vendetta by someone on default trust.

No, use https://blockchain.info/ to create an online wallet. They have great security features and it's the all around most used online wallet. Mt.Gox is known to fail especially with the recent crack down.
If you want to purchase bitcoin I suggest you use https://localbitcoins.com/. You never know if someone near you uses BTC. If not, then I suggest using https://www.bitinstant.com/. It's quick and easy. You'll have your coins in less than an hour.

You might want to visit this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=14.0. I notice you're a newbie so be aware that you won't be able to post until you've graduated. However, you're still able to watch threads so skim through them and you might find the answers you're looking for. Once you've graduated you can easily go back to helpful threads that you've marked to watch.

Welcome.

Honestly with the current setup, the most you could probably do is trade on one of the exchanges.   Doesn't sound like your machine can handle much..  Even if you get a video card, it is doubtful you will make the money back on it unless you have free electricity.

My advice is to forget about mining. You will almost certainly loose money unless you are committed to buying expensive special purpose hardware.
Think about what you have to sell, or what you can do to earn bitcoin. There is a growing community in India who you can trade with. There is even an Indian section on these forums.

Hi and Welcome to the forum!

If you dont have any GPU or minig equipment I recommend you to trade with Bitcoins or try to earn some at the free sites that gives aways bitcoins for free and then trade them for the highest price.

Or if you have some money to spend then can we at nordicbtcminers help you with hosting the mining device if you dont want to do it by yourself....

We are going to probably have a group buy soon at the Erupter Block USB mining device, check this thread or our site nordicbtcminers.com. The site is pretty new and all question are welcome to following adress: info@nordicbtcminers.com

The price per unit will be app. BTC2.029 and minimum units to order/batch is 50, but you can order 1,2,5 or as many as you want to. The payback time (break even) is app. 145 days
