What would you suggest? I want to buy some Waves. Is it better to wait for the Chinese to close the exchanges and hoping for another drop or buy it later when it calms down?

Anybody knows what is happening in China? Can they access to foreign exchanges or not?

It will have a small effect though the people trading coins can still send and receive coins in any area of the world.

I had a look at coinmarketcap - https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/waves/#markets

It doesn't look like the Chinese exchanges have waves listed at all. And Chinese investors can't trade on the western exchanges because of the Great Firewall.

So the only effect China will have on this coin is "sympathy selling" where western investors sell all sorts of coins in a blind panic "Beacuse China".

Simple market trading rule: always buy at the dip; if you think that waves already have dipped then buy, if not then wait dont rush, market is very volatile, even with the china fuds No one really has the crystal ball that can accurately predict the market but looking at the dip in the chart may help you.

waves and generally all the altcoins are being traded on the couple of top altcoin exchanges, mainly poloniex and bittrex. so their prices are also controlled by these two big exchanges. and both of these are outside of China and if i am not mistaken they are based in US.

as for buying, the current market is pretty bad for any investment for altcoins. you should be very careful in general not just about this particular coin. sometimes doing nothing is even better.

Waves are not pressured by that but recently the market has been slightly affected by it. But things are gradually recovering, China will legitimize the cryptocurrency transaction and then the price of the market may grow slightly

You can put 50% money now and 50% up some time. Because market already moves up and it can drop a bit then You can put your balance money to everage out your purchase

You see the effect on Bitcoin's "ban" by China (isn't really a ban). Bitcoin and many altcoins were up again within a few days. I see Waves as solid project and worth to invest in for longterm.

Completely agree with you. I think that there will be a good pump in October. So, try to buy as many tokens as you can and wait. You will be rewarded, that's for sure

I love Waves and what they do, but this notice regarding Waves on Cryptopia makes me a bit sad:

Buy in dips brother. I suggest you to always check the market and buy when it's bloodbath so when it pumps you can have a good profit in return.
China's drama isn't not yet over but I think it will not affect directly the waves so buy now before October starts.

I think it's better now you buy it because now almost all the coin has decreased.
and maybe in a few weeks it will rise again and maybe even increase.
