Using OK Pay to Fund BTC-E

I intend to use my OK Pay account to fund a Bitcoin trading account at BTC-E (https://btc-e.com/). Can you confirm for me that once I transfer money into my OK Pay account, I will be able to send payments to this BTC-E account? I do not have any experience with this trading platform and am hoping to get favorable history to comfort my apprehension about sending money to BTC-E this way.

OKPay is anything but fast I've had delays of two days. Try using an International Wire Transfer. It's cheaper in the long run.

I have been trying to find an alternative to sending my money to BTC-E via wire transfer. The reason for this is it seems the wire transfer information they sent to me seems dubious at best.

- It seems strange to me that
1. The UK company that I am sending my monies to has not filed tax returns since it was formed in 2011/2012.

2. The Bank you want me to send the money to is located in Georgia (Russia)

3. The invoice requires I list this payment as advertising payments.

Something just does not SEEM correct here.

btc-e is dodgy as hell...
I expect it to be next to be shut down...

stick with bitstamp...any exchange that does not require verification is asking for trouble

Maybe you can try this:

Open an account and get verified on bistamp.net. I have very good experience with the sepa transfer of € and exchange into $ (2-3 buisness days).

Buy your bitcoins at bistamp.net and transfer them wihout withdrawel fee to btc-e and sell them for the currency you like. Right now you will hawe a loss of maybe 3-4% and thats about the same as it was with bank transfer to okpay and than from okpay to btc-e.

Actual ASK price at bistamp is: 127.20 -0.5% fee
Actual BID Price at btc-e is: 125.64 -0.02 fee
