With China news, and panic in the market. Is there is any returns on investment for new comers . For eg Ethereeum was $40  6 months back look at now.

earlier days the ICO offerings were cheap. Nowadays and recent ICO  tokens average around a dollar. I meant he Real , BMC etc tokens.

Not sure if we will make money in this risky market, as new comers bring in or pump in hard earned money. Old players are like playing in casino exchange coins from what they bought years ago . They do not feel the pinch as well worry about value, or need to do more homework on understanding the ICO for investment purposes.

Newcomers are walking in a thin rope i ffeel. I am not pessimistic but that's just my feeling. Not much of wiggle room to play as profits are far less than marketed.

i won't advise you to invest in big amount for the ico but i can suggest to invest your money in bitcoin. although bitcoin price is volatile but at least, in the end the price will recover and get new price. beside that if we want to invest our money to the ico, we need more info before investing in the ico and there is no guarantee that the ico will success.

My advice is to get into a coin that offers masternodes EARLY. and get enough coins to set up a masternode. that way its very hard to lose!

Top advice here  Grin   See https://masternodes.pro for masternode ROI info. If you see a low masternode count (or low circulation) then it's probably a good time to get in.

eg LINDA is new coin, and that can generate 200K free LINDA on a good day (like for my MN yesterday) - it was probably extreme luck.. But that coin is pretty cool, it was only 3 satoshi a few weeks ago, and it can't go lower than 1 satoshi.. So it has a very solid growth potential that uses the 8 decimal place limit of Bitcoin to some advantage!

Welcome to the wonderful world of crypto.
Short time poster - long time lurker.

What I have seen is basically all the people that tell you to buy and hold are correct.
It's *very* easy to get caught in the hype of a fancy new coin or some new project. But in the end, its not really about the flash or glamor. Its mostly about the tech. If it is good tech with good development that are willing to run the marathon - not the sprint - then the coin will survive whatever the market can throw at it.

Maybe this is a bubble. Hell if I know.
What I do know is that there have been people who are discontented with the way banking/finance is going. Then there are also people who are doubters because their money is tied up in the current system.

This whole sphere has been called a bubble. And honestly may be called that until the current system is gone.

Find something you like and learn about it. This isnt a get rich quick thing. You can, but there are also thousands of people in the cryptosphere who want to do this aswell.

Dont invest more than you are willing to lose.

At the same time - no risk = no reward.

All the best!

The crypto world has always been volatile. Many people don't know this and tend to overreact. The best way to earn profits in this world is long term trading(Buy and HODL all the way). This is no secret. It all depends on how long you are willing to wait to earn money.

My advice would be to look for ways to garner passive income. Examples of these would be coins that allow masternodes or proof-of-stake coins. I don't know much about what masternode coins are good ones to get in on. Although for PoS coins I would recommend ETHD (just take a look at their thread) and PoSToken, the latter being the first ERC20 PoS token and having no ICO, but offering their tokens out through an airdrop.

Free tokens has to be some good advice

My advices are: split your money into at least 4-5 altcoins, do not panic in each decrease in value of altcoin (even buy some more in some cases) and be patient.

My advice is that you can buy some video card for mining, ICO is banned by the Chinese government, a huge amount of ICO coins are scam I think, be careful.

You can join some airdrop, at least it's more reliable than ICO

If you invest use the dollar cost average method
Always to your research (Team, vision, project, usability)
Dont trust anybody
Never fomo in
Buy a hardware wallet
Always take some profit ( unless you want to be a hodler, which is fine buts its very hard to see potential gains of over 200% disappear)
Have fun

Cheers

I would recommend before investing all your hard earned money just study the project and never invest all your money!  Grin Good ICO have to have a good and real product and experienced team of founders.

My advices:

Never go all in!
Never go full dump!
Don't trust anybody in crypto!

I should add some:

Always diversify your risks!
Don't hurry up! You should make smart and weighted decisions.
If you are newbie use buy and hold strategy.

The one who made me get into the bitcoin advised me not to expect big on bitcoin unless you have a bigger capital investment. Newbies easily get trapped by investments that were completely scam. It's good to have a clear understanding and then step forward to know the process of earning rather than just getting into traps.

Try to follow old traders on twitter, they usually have good things to say about being careful and how to handle your investment, plus some good calls too. Also telegram groups where you can see people discuss the prices and the icos

Do you have some twitter account, trader names or references to share?

for the newcomers i always suggest investing in bitcoin only. that is the best option you can hope for. the market is bigger more trusted and even if you make mistakes you can be relatively sure that price will eventually recover and you make your money back. it is safe in bitcoin.

then as next step you should start trading altcoins. still no ICO though. altcoins are easier to trade and a newcomer normally doesn't even know what to look for in an ICO and how to choose from them, for them it will be like gambling if they try.

The best investment advice that I can give you is that don't hop into coins that other shill to you. They have their own agenda, which is that they try to shill you coins that they have themselves invested in so that more and more people keep buying the same coin and the price should rise. Best is to wait and watch how the market cycles work and then do a lot of research before buying into any alt coin. You are still early here and can make good money, god speed and good luck to you.

My advice would be that if you are looking to hold your coins, go for projects that are likely to be able to generate revenue In The short term and therefore are unlikely to run out of money.  Too many projects completely assume there is a market for their or their product will be adopted into a particular market.

Eth and btc are good, for sure..but don't start from investing all your funds in big coins, they are pretty expensive for the new investor with average budget.. But diversification is always a good decision
