Should this happen then I think is better for bitcoin core. I have seeing bitcoin Cash raising and I was trying to know the reason behind this until I read this your thread. Bitcoin Cash will go up in days to come because of this rumor as this market is being drive by both good and fake news. When this happens I do believe that bitcoin Core will get a good stable price as China drive the prices the way they want with rumors.

With BCC, there are still a considerable amount of this coin inside bags of others than Chinese. A bit identical to the distribution of Bitcoin. That would suggest it is not totally under their control, which reduce the incentive for them to doing so.

This is pure speculation. Good one for BCC and the idea who brought this is amazing. But sadly you can smell it from afar that this is just FUD all over again to create much talk about BCC. And you can see that a lot has been buying late pushing the price to $600. So if I were those you bought BCC, you might check the price again and dump it because as soon as the price plummet, its gonna be hard to go out and exit because you will lose your investment in this fashion.

It is pure speculation, but I wouldn't put anything past this Chinese government. It seems to me like somebody high up there is actively trying to manipulate the bitcoin price.

That was a bitcoin china, Jihan wu was the creator for such forked coin, Nothing to say about the china will try to claim the bitcoin cash as the bticoin china but there is a possibility for that will become true in the future. As you can see that caused by the miners and most of bitcoin miners are from china.

It is still a rumor so there is a chance that it might not  be true. Still, Chinese are the one who came up with this fork anyway, and it was Jihan Wu. Though that is the case, I doubt China government will support it because they banned ICO's so why would they want anything to do with a cryptocurrency? The partnership with alibaba group is probably not true.

centralizing an altcoin means the death of it!
you can create a centralized altcoin like ethereum and hide the fact pretty well and fool everyone into believing it is otherwise, but if you publicly and foolishly make it centralized by even having the name centralized (bitcoin china) you will be killing it with your own hands.

Without renaming BCC, everyone already know that BCC come from china and many people have called BCC as bitcoin china. and also, it's merely a rumour, just a BS unless a reliable source of information mentioned.
Maybe partnering with alibaba group is a good thing for china, but supposedly, doesn't give many affect for people outside china.

BCC is already often referred to as the bitcoin of China but there are some logistical issues with the Chinese government trying to control it given its decentralised nature. Nothing is ever impossible though and the Chinese government often find ways to do things that others couldn't due to their ability to quickly adapt situations to their favour.

I dont think that this will happen in the next time! Only if all the miners are switching to Bitcoincash, it could get interessting! Maybe some China miners switch to BCC, because of the BTC regulations. But I think they will just leave the country and mine the good old BTC there
