This could be possible,as Chinese government trying to halt or ban bitcoin mining and also shutting down the BTC exchanges. Thus, BTC price dips and devalued in China, then suddenly they surprisingly launch their Bitcoin Fork backed by Chinese government and other giant companies and financial institution then the mining and exchanges resume but only dominated by Bitcoin china and blocking Bitcoin to china and then the Bitcoin China price inflates.

I agree and don't think china is more in bcc than in btc. They will develop their own cryptocurrency and I'm very interested in how this coin will behave.

They would rather create their own coin than on using or rebranding BCH itself knowing its a decentralized thing too and i dont think that they would use up for their plans.Its an impossible thing and this is just rumor and also Bitcoin China name do really sucks. If they would create new coin they should not use bitcoin on the name because no one could able to compete with bitcoin.
