There some details about funding goal I think they are looking to raise 300BTC to keep continue developing this platform and maximum funds cap is 11kBTC to expand this service and take the maximum benefits from this.

yes, you are right. We need not less than 300 BTC to increase number of servers in Russia. And if will fundraise more we will be able to provide cheap workspaces and internet connection in other countries (according to development plan). By the way, our servers have been already working and the remote workspaces are at MVP stage right now.

Please check our hosts:

Code:
 nslookup nsk1.eggs.lib.eggsdc.com
nslookup msk1.eggs.lib.eggsdc.com

As we contain all DNS records on every hosts locally at blockchain, you can access any web-sites from alternative DNS zones (darkweb?) using our workspaces. Certainly, we've implemented this feature to avoid DNS vulnerabilities. When people works at remote workspaces their DNS requests cann't be hijacked. But also it gives an opportunity to browse any domains.

This is how it works from your ordinary web browser (to access this address from our remote workspaces you have to delete "eggsdc.com"):

Code:
http://bits-media.coin.eggsdc.com
http://ivc.coin.eggsdc.com
http://news.coin.eggsdc.com/en/

Thats what we really concern about. This is how it works:
  • firstly, we reduce number of concurrent users in one hosts up to 5 people (in Amazon this is approx 300-400 users at one server)
  • secondly, we use Full Disk Encryption (FDE) to encrypt full disk of your remote workspace. Even if it will be stolen, it will stay unbreakable
  • thirdly, we replicate virtual disk of you workspace online to 3 different machines around you. if one goes down - another one wake up
  • and last -  we hate containers (LXC/LXD/Docker) as they can be easily cracked from the nearby container' user. Just separate VM

What i really like at this project that if i travel from NY to Beijing, my workspace goes with me. Let's imagine If data centre is decentralised than it means that hosts might be installed everywhere. Even around the corner. And when i want t use my workspace, system just has to replicate it to the nearest point to me. Our guys from technical team will use DNS requests to identify my position in the globe.

Also we use Security Perimetr to protect your workspace, i just curved up this picture from white paper. You can check how it works there

Guys, distributed data center is more than just Another Great Idea. It's working model. Check our hosters in Russia in map with one meter accuracy: https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=1RlZINRdU4yjFIFyht_jBKwU5hOs&ll=54.90274310120772%2C70.05581593518605&z=4

Yep. Firstly we would like to make just a replica of traditional VPS at data centers with blockchain defence. But then decided to go further and help mobile workers and travellers keep their working computers with them - everywhere in the world. Cloud computers with software, GPU, accessible via smartphone. Ans it just travels with you as hard drive just replicates and starts from the nearest host. Also, we would like to provide token holders with ability to pay for internet connection via smartphone. This depends on the ICO results if honestly  Wink

Sure? Could you put a link? Thats quite important as we already have hosters and they can't provide place for another companies according to agreement. By the way, you said we are the third - is this bad? Smiley Russia was always a country where developers worked more with hardware. As China for example.

Hi!
Can you clarify how it will be realized in a blockchain conception?
Or it is something in the air yet?

Hi! Sure. It's not a concept cause we've already use hosts with pre-installed blockchain.

As i written before, you can check them via the terminal at your Mac or Windows (nslookup command):

Code:
nslookup nsk1.eggs.lib.eggsdc.com
nslookup msk1.eggs.lib.eggsdc.com

What is this? This is DNS names of two hosts in our domain eggs.lib which is reachable via our gateway eggsdc.com. Blockchain contain DNS as "name-value" pairs allowing users of cloud computers to extract it locally. For example, if you are a user of data center and you try to open any web site from your cloud computer - the DNS request won't go to the root DNS servers, it will be resolved in the your host without entering the outer world.

Why do we do this? Firstly, to avoid DNS rebinding, DNS redirects and DNS spoofing as there are a lot of FRAUD schemes with DNS today. For example, do you remember myetherawllet.com? Thats phishing site. Check it at Steemit https://steemit.com/ethereum/@dhumphrey/scam-warning-fake-myetherwallet-phishing-site Using your ordinary computer you can go to this web site if your provider's DNS were spoofed. We need blockchain to protect users.

Also, you are able to enter any web sites with "hidden" DNS (Open NIC DNS) from our cloud computers.

The same way blockchain help us to store SSL certificates and public SSH keys to avoid any Middle Man between you and cloud computer. Thats meaningless to hack our servers with data cause there is no central servers with data Grin The same way, if you store some important content on your computer you can easily encrypt data and store you public key in blockchain - even our company will not be able to discover what you keep there. As we haven't a central server with keys.
