My apologies but this has me confused, I attempted a send from blockchain to coinbase and several hours later it is still pending with this message over "confidence": Double-Spend Detected: No Memory Pools With Tx: XXXX

Did I lose that money? Do I need to do something to correct this?

I think it's highly unlikely that you lost your money. Can you post the Tx ID? This looks like a fixable problem.

I'm sure you're trying to help me but I'm paranoid about giving any info.
I will say block chain shows " unconfirmed"  and coinbase ( the recipient) shows pending.
Block chain explorer shows 0/6 confirmed.
Hasn't changed for hours.

There's currently an unusual amount of trafic (assuming this is about bitcoin) and there's allot of unconfirmed transactions, you're not alone. Don't worry.

I don't think you lost your money, it is just waiting to be confirmed by miners.

Perhaps just a server problem. Do not worry, I think you have not lost the bitcoins, but started to contact the administration!

Here in bitcoin, you can not double spend, because each hash point goes back to the previous one to verified the block and go on and go on. To change the history of "not" spend the coin for the first time. You have to change the ledge over 51% which is impossible right now.

Yeah and more to that, you would for sure not make that by accident.
Its due to traffic or coinbase specific problem, contact them.
