You can buy parts of a ETH as you can buy parts of a BTC. It might not be clear at first, because BTC is more overall in use, you can do this, and also you can buy parts of, I believe any other altcoin that exists. And you can also buy ETH with USD!

I used to be confused about this issue, because I believe in Poloniex, you have to send 1 whole Ether to your wallet before it appears or something, but if you buy them from the exchange then you have no trouble buying smaller amounts.

Surly you can buy less than 1 ETH, everything depends of how much money you are ready to invest. But I doubt that such little investment will bring you a lot of profit, which you are must be suppose to get in the future, There is the only option for you is to add this amount with some more investment to raise the final amount. I count Etherum as one of the most perspective investment, this coin has the future doubtless.

You can surely buy less than 1 ETH. That is the best thing about cryto currency exchanges. I remember a month ago i bought .01 eth coz i have to transfer my token into some exchange and they have like .002eth fee. You can also buy ETH with USD.

Hi I am a newbie and I am planning to invest ETH coin but I only have limited amount of money to start investing. Can I buy less than 1 ETH?Your response are greatly appreciated.Thank you. Yes, it is possible.Only requirement is that you have account in any exchange and funds in your BTC wallet to purchase ETH. There is no limit to buy 1 ETH, you can buy for any amount and you get ETH as per your buying value. No limit on minimum buy on any altcoin but some exchanges require minimum amount of buy. Bittrex require minimum buying of 0.00050000 BTC and Yobit require only 0.00010000.

My suggestion is to invest a minimum $50 because you will get a decent profit. If you invest less than this amount, then it is a bit difficult to increase your ETH with trading. Or else the same amount you can invest in less value altcoin and increase your bankroll after reaching once decent amount you can buy ETH, it's your choice.

Of course you can, but a little advice, if you have a small capital avoid transacting because it will instead spend your money for transaction costs, use the best possible opportunity in choosing the moment.

I buy small change cryptos all the time but most of the times I put orders and leave them be, as I try to buy a little cheaper than the market is at that moment. If you buys smaller amounts more frequently it also hurts less if ETH drops from $400 to $280 as it did a while back.

You can usually buy any amount you want, but sometimes there is a minimum of $1-2. Also keep in mind that commission can be fixed, so you can get $2 in ETH and pay $5.
Ether is just one of the decimals, others are as follows: 'wei': '1', 'kwei': '1000', 'ada': '1000', 'femtoether': '1000', 'mwei': '1000000', 'babbage': '1000000', 'picoether': '1000000', 'gwei': '1000000000', 'shannon': '1000000000', 'nanoether': '1000000000', 'nano': '1000000000', 'szabo': '1000000000000', 'microether': '1000000000000', 'micro': '1000000000000', 'finney': '1000000000000000', 'milliether': '1000000000000000', 'milli': '1000000000000000', 'ether': '1000000000000000000', 'kether': '1000000000000000000000', 'grand': '1000000000000000000000', 'einstein': '1000000000000000000000', 'mether': '1000000000000000000000000', 'gether': '1000000000000000000000000000', 'tether': '1000000000000000000000000000000'
You can buy ETH directly for fiat currencies at cryptonator or cex.io (these two I use myself)
Good luck!

Hi I am a newbie and I am planning to invest ETH coin but I only have limited amount of money to start investing. Can I buy less than 1 ETH?Your response are greatly appreciated.Thank you. Lol. Of course you can man! As long as the amount being bought is bugger than the fees, you should be good. Amd good thing you chose etherium. Because it has quite low transaction fees. And that would really emable you to buy smaller fractions of the coin. But you have to be careful in buying. Make sure that the place where you are buying is legitimate and secure. Also, be sure with the type of wallet you will be using to prevent any mishaps. Goodluck man.

Hi I am a newbie and I am planning to invest ETH coin but I only have limited amount of money to start investing. Can I buy less than 1 ETH?Your response are greatly appreciated.Thank you. Yes, that's possible. I bought 0.2ETH last week on liqui trading platform and I used Bitcoin to buy it. You can also buy directly in USD, not necessarily buy with Bitcoin. There are some eth shopping sites or you can also contact directly to individuals selling Eth but be careful because scams are everywhere, you should consult others about their credibility before buy. Eth is now a very potential coin, if you intend to invest then you should buy it now

Hi I am a newbie and I am planning to invest ETH coin but I only have limited amount of money to start investing. Can I buy less than 1 ETH?Your response are greatly appreciated.Thank you. You can buy tiny fractions of just about any altcoin, and also bitcoin. But please be aware that wherever you buy it, there will be also be a cost involved for the transaction. So if you spend $50, you will end up with less than $50 worth of ETH. Every time you move it or convert to another coin or $, there will be a cost involved.

Hi I am a newbie and I am planning to invest ETH coin but I only have limited amount of money to start investing. Can I buy less than 1 ETH?Your response are greatly appreciated.Thank you. You can and even just try to buy a little amount of ethereum, The important thing to remember if you must pay the fees that already settled by the Exchange sites. And you will be free to buy whatever how much as you need to buy it.

Yes it is possible to buy less than 1 ETH. I have 0.0093ETH in my Imtoken wallet. If you buy way too low your transaction cost will be comparatively higher. Also if you are looking to buy ETH directly with USD or EURO check coinbase. It has a simple easy to use platform for beginners and there is GDAX which is owned by coinbase for more professional traders which charges substantially low fees for trading. Good luck

The answer is yes, since Ethereum like any other cryptocurrencies can be divided into smaller units, which makes cryptocurrencies very flexible.

Hi I am a newbie and I am planning to invest ETH coin but I only have limited amount of money to start investing. Can I buy less than 1 ETH?Your response are greatly appreciated.Thank you. Yes of course! You can buy fraction of Eth (i.e. less than 1 Eth). And if you're buying from an exchange, you can definitely use any of the available payment methods listed there (including FIAT or regular currency like USD, Euro...) & if you hold any other crypto currency (BTC or others); you can always use sites (like shapeshift) to exchange it for Eth
