We have started developing a new native application Ledger Wallet (for PC/Mac/Linux) based on Electron framework.

Anybody when this is coming?

You are referring to this?: https://trello.com/c/mf0aFgDK/28-chrome-applications-end-of-life
It was created one year ago but started being active in the last few weeks from the look of it and this must be the GitHub repository: https://github.com/LedgerHQ/chromeapp2electron . Nothing much there (check the other branches) so It may take a while before it's available. In the meantime, I can't find anything about Google dropping the chrome apps.

As far as I remember they said they are going to release it by the end of this year. Can't wait to see one app which will allow us to manage all of our funds. I'm tired of switching between Ethereum and Bitcoin app. I'm afraid that they might be a bit late but I hope I'm wrong. Did they post anything interesting on their Slack? It would be nice to see some screenshots of upcoming app.

They release native app Q1 2018.

Is this the correct way to send BTC from one Ledger Nano S account to another account in same Nano S: Copy new account receive bitcoins address to old accout recipient bitcoins address? Or is there simpler way to do it?

I have a Nano S and that's the only way I think it can be done because even though it's a single device, the BTC accounts are different and independent of one another. Each with different private keys and public addresses.
