After 2 days trying to diagnose why I couldn't install additional GPUs to my rig, and doing the "trial and error" troubleshooting to figure out why my system would continuously crash I found out that 2 of the PCI e x1 slots are messed up and cause issues when a GPU is plugged into it.

Looking for a recommendation for a solid intel LGA 1151 mobo that can easily accept 6 GPUs..

The board I was having issues with is a MSI Z270 SLI PLUS

Do you mean that 2 pcie slots of your MSI Z270 SLI + were damaged? As I know, this is not a bad mobo... Or maybe some configuration issues to your mobo? Mind sharing more info about your mining rig, such as PSU, OS, etc?
