I'm sure they have some surprises and some big announcements on hold for the SWELL.
Deciding to "Compete" against SIBOS may be dangerous if you start with your left foot but i'm sure they have a right jab prepared for them.
Failing to land a right jab may give ripple bad rep in the eyes of the investors. Is that even possible?
i think not. SIBOS does not come with concrete solutions or game changing innovation, most of the time are vague and boring talks with words like: Community, organic future, challenges and opportunity, transforming the landscape, develop with respect and stuff like that.
Ripple put's solutions on the table for future customers, not tomorrow, not next year but right now.

Ripple price during Swell conference? around 0.40 maybe even a 0.45 cents (us dollar) spike 18 oct around 12:00 toronto time. It may not drop much after if some people decide they can really profit from implementing XRP. i would say around 30 cents the week following the conference.

i have seen many of that conference of the ripple and i am following ripple from a long time and there are many speculation about ripple i have seen that it will rise its price and nothing happen till now. i think ripple is just useless to invest where there are many good potential coin right there. hopping for it to rise for its investors but ii have nothing to do with it.

I'm pretty confident the price will pump before or during the conference but will dump for sure afterwards. For me Ripple ist just a pump and dump coin. I would never invest a dime in ripple because I belive in their coin. It's all about buying the hype and sell all on top.

It will only pump real, if there is coming up an announcment which gives Ripple (and XRP) more value, or more trust from the investors.

Maybe (and possible) the price will pump the closer the conference comes. Because the market is nervous about XRP. Many players expecting a take off at any time. Many players are scared of missing this train. Little things, little rumours can push the price fast and hard up. But if nothing gets delivered, the price comes down in exactly the same speed. Remember the twitter countdown a few weeks ago...

the price remains stable at 4k + sat, the price probably will return to 12 even up to 20an, this coin has long lost the position, I'm sure they will return to occupy the 3rd

the swell anouncement was something else. was just a twitter post actually. This is a 3 day conference which is aimed at gathering investors. And they aim with all they have (sibos revenge). If anything this is the biggest ripple moment since the launch. You must see the difference!
there are chances that the price will be pumped more than the reality.
Banking conference + investors + real speakers (not banking crooks) + good product for banking (ripple) = a new price high

it all depends on how much this news is being spread as a "good news" and "pump-worthy". these things are pretty common, also they usually mean nothing and change nothing about anything either
that is why it only leaves how much it is hyped up, as the only reason you can look forward to a pump.

there are times when a random news like this becomes so hyped up that price soars. there are other times a good news is swept under a rug because market was on a down-trend already.

if i had to guess i would say the chances of a pump are good with this one.

As long as the conference bring good news and any positive news, then it surely will rise.
Based on the chart now, xrp already in dip, and really cheap as well.
