These exchanges are really getting greedy with their fees. Take Nova for example. If we for any reason cannot list your coin the payment will be refunded to your account minus 35% as processing fee. They want to steal 35% of your listing fees for some reason your coin can't be listed there

Cryptopia wants 5 btc or $20,000 to list a coin there. LOL

CoinExchange wants 3 btc to list there

No way! really 5 BTC for Cryptopia?? wow that is seriously out there.  To be fair nobody should be paying to be on an exchange, the exchanges will pick you up sooner or later if you are worth your salt.

5000000 DOT
Listing subject to developer review

DOT is trading at 103 sats X 5,000,000 is 5 BTC  Shocked

Then they are adding buy support to assure that DOT doesn't drop pass certain levels. To ensure people will pay crazy prices for DOT

It's not only this! Wanting 20K for listing is insane.
But do you know what is even more insane? HitBTC! They want to take 40% from EVERY deal on ICO and pre-ICO trades! If you want to buy tokens for 1BTC, they want to take from you 0.2BTC as fees. And they want to take another 0.2 fees from seller!

It's really unfair. Because they will receive trading fees from traders too. Most of exchanges receive 0.2% of amount of transactions.

Have you thought about trying a decentralised exchange like Openledge?

https://openledger.io/create-account

At the bottom of the screen is "add coin" and they'll respond to you within three days.

That's not a big amount for listing a coin .I think most of devs can accept the fees, you know nearly all the ico funds millions of dollars.
