already china has banned bitcoins is there any chance that other countries may ban bitcoins?Huh
Its not like total ban in use of bitcoin, they are just shutting down all bitcoin to fiat trading platform which also looks temporary one. They won't and can't just ban bitcoin because no one can completely stop bitcoin transactions in some specific country its not like banning access to facebook or twitter. Chinese government know that they can't just stop their citizens from accessing bitcoin but as they are quite anxious about money laundering, they are trying to limit bitcoin to CNY trading so their fiat can hold same value.

I do not think so. China bans bitcoin because of the many ICO projects that Scam. and I do not think that other countries will do the same because each country has a different economic outlook.

Currently there are countries that banned bitcoin for long time now.

Chances for other countries to follow is always possible but today don't think of that since it's unlikely will happen to the country where bitcoin is actively being used. Stop thinking too much and just continue your normal day in crypto world.

Banning bitcoin in a country is really possible. And if bitcoin is being banned by a country, it has something to do with the banking system of a the country. They surely be calling for a war on bitcoin. Nevertheless, banning bitcoin in a country got nothing to do with bitcoin being still the no.1 crypto currency, or the top digital currency.

Who said China banned Bitcoin, ban is only on exchanges and that is to be effected from 30th September, no surety.
About possibilities, yeah it may be possible that several nations step up to ban Bitcoins. Government changes every four or five years in most of the countries and every government has different prospective towards Bitcoin and currency system. So the countries supporting Bitcoin currently may end up banning it in few years or so, who knows.

I don't sure, but maybe there is country that can forbid bitcoin such as China's did.
The problem posed by China to bitcoin has considerable impact on bitcoin exchange.
Everybody doesn't know what will be happen with bitcoin in the future.
I think possibility of bitcoin forbidden is same as bitcoin legalized.

China hasn't banned bitcoins and even those countries that have banned bitcoins have done so on a temporary basis. There is basically no valid reason to ban this crypto currency when it itself is harmless and can be regulated if the necessary actions are taken. And now since many people are using it, there won't be any Government that would seriously think of banning it but they'll impose strict laws and taxes that would reduce the market for bitcoins. That's what China has done.

Now the governments of some countries are concerned about uncontrolled diversion of money from their country through crypto currency transactions, as well as by the fact that the profit from using the digital currency is difficult to tax. A few days ago, the Chinese government bluntly stated that it considers the decentralized crypto currency to be a threat to its economy and therefore prohibits the circulation of crypto currency in its country. This example can follow the governments of other countries. However, it is one thing to prohibit the citizens of their country from using crypto currency in financial transactions, but it is either impossible or difficult to control the implementation of this prohibition. In addition, the country, in which the circulation of the crypto currency will be banned, automatically loses a significant part of the revenues from trade in the world market and during the period of expanding use of crypto currency in trade agreements by other countries, leads to self-isolation and, again, to a decrease in the inflow of currency into the country. Therefore, the prohibition of crypto currency to fill the economy with money, on the one hand is ineffective, and on the other hand it leads to the opposite effect. Therefore, the governments of different countries today face difficult tasks related to the crypto currency.

Probably yes. There is a chance that other countries will ban Bitcoin. But there is also a possibility that other countries will accept it. We don't know what might happen but all we need to do is pray and hope that Bitcoin will continue rise and grow. Everything will be fine. Just keep on holding on your coins. We never know maybe China will unban Bitcoin in the future.

Well, they didn't really ban Bitcoin, just ICOs and exchanges. Likely, they will also prohibit OTC trading, which will drive mining activity outside of the country. This still would be unlikely to remove China's influence in ASIC manufacturing.

Despite the recent attack on BTC-e, the US doesn't seem to share China's hostility. The CFTC granted formal registration to LedgerX to offer swaps/derivatives for Bitcoin. They could be trading as early as next month: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2197799.msg22086566#msg22086566

And apparently, people in the sector are expecting an ETF by the end of the year. Things are moving quickly.

There is always a possibility that this will happen but let's be positive. There are other countries who welcome bitcoin with open arms so don't worry that much because bitcoin is already legalize in some countries and there are rumors going around that another Asian country may legalize bitcoin. They may have seen that they just cannot easily ban it and the technology behind it has potential that's why to take advantage of it, they would just legalize it to have shares of the transactions.

China has a big impact in the recent announcements they have made saying they ban bitcoin but then again there is a news again that they would just regulate it not ban it so it is not clear. Nevertheless, we should not be that affected anymore to this news because China is just one part of the market share of bitcoin, not the whole market share.

there is always any chance for other countries to banned bitcoin but i don't think that they want to ban bitcoin because if they read in many article, they will think twice to do this. maybe they can not make any regulations related with bitcoin but if they realize that bitcoin can solve their economy problem and the best thing is bitcoin can solve peoples poverty.

The only way to ban bitcoin is to ban the Internet in the entire country (north Korea style).
Even in this case, you will just limit the number of people accessing it because they can move to another country (South Korea, Japan...) and buy bitcoin or even in Hong-Kong and Taiwan. Even dark market could be an alternative
For trading you need an exchanges that accepts Tor or vpn.

Agreed, it's not easy to completely ban bitcoin in a country as long as there's internet connection, even in China after all exchanges shut down; people could trade bitcoin over the counter through telegram without any exchange as the middle man but it's risky.
But, a big country ban cryptocurrency trading will cause a significant effect to the market, and there's some chances bitcoin will be ban again due to most countries all over the world doesn't have regulations about bitcoin, except for few countries that have regulated bitcoin such as in Japan.

More government might join this chinese shit rally soon if they can completely ban use of bitcoin in chinese territory which I think quite impossible. People might still use usual bitcoin wallets through VPN channels or via TOR network. How they gonna stop this?

Chinese are known for creating their own version of any successful product so I think they are now on their way to develop something similar to bitcoin and might call them as chinese bitcoin. LOL  Grin

When did China ban Bitcoin?? Wan't it just exchange ban??
Thats exactly the same question I was about to throw to the OP.. as far as I know, China has banned cryptocurrency trading which is expected to be in full effect on September 30th as can be read here---> https://www.theverge.com/2017/9/18/16326078/chinese-regulators-ban-cryptocurrency-platforms-bitcoin and imo I think this is temporary as they will relaunch with new regulations enforced.

China didn't ban bitcoin actually, they banned ICOs (which about new coins and tokens), they banned exchangers, but mining by which China is on the first position in the world, they didn't touch, yet. The Chinese government sum ply trying to regulate bitcoin, it's a big and rich country and we may only guess how much money were washed out through digital currencies. I suppose we don't need to worry about other countries' decidion in this point, cause of now they gonna look on China and their economy after this banning and if it go down, I doubt that countries with weak economy will ban bitcoin as well, they better will follow Australian and Japanese examples, but not Chinese.
