It's known that China will temporarily ban BTC trading. I have read somewhere that all ICO's in China will have to go through the NEO-platform, do you guys think this is true? What's the probability?

Probability, being China? who knows, they march to their own tune, first wait for the National Congress of the Communist Party of China to finish before any significant progress. It does not look like a widespread rumour yet as the price of NEO is still very depressed.......

Can you provide the link to the news?

I won't be surprised if it happens. In this case NEO will increase in price very much and in any case NEO is one of best altcoins in long-term.

Not yet.
I think China may move to ban crypto before accepting NEO.
I'm worried about what will happen if the miners are no longer allowed to mine on the mainland.

Yes, please provide a source of the rumor.

I've read some opinion pieces saying the regulation might be good in the long run for NEO such as this:
http://ethereumworldnews.com/china-regulations-towards-ico-positive-indicator-neo-antshres-chinese-ethereum/

I can't say I've seen anything that says what you're mentioning specifically, though.

I'd be very interested if you can provide any information supporting your claim, I'm holding onto some NEO currently.

It's a rumor most likely put out there to pump up NEO, as the price is rapidly falling.

A rumor is a rumor. Probably meant to pump NEO. But China will probably lift the ban on ICOs soon.

In that case why wouldn't they issue their own crypto.
It's not like they need neo for this.

Somebody showed me a telegram post saying that a big whale said something like that, so the source isnt trustworthy and just a rumour. I couldnt find more on the internet about it that's why I posted this. Guess a rumour is indeed a rumour and we will have to wait om a real announcement. Thanks for reacting everyone!

Recently, the behavior of the Chinese government is unpredictable. Rumor about that. that in China can choose a digital coin NEO as a platform for the upcoming ICO is not meaningless in the event that this coin is completely centralized and will be subordinate to the government of China. According to information the founders of NEO some time ago just had a meeting with the leaders of the government.

NEO is already severly pumped over the last month and is still very high right now.

It makes sense that the people behind this use the China bitcoin ban to get another rally to start.

China BAN/FUD will live until 30 september, I think. There's nothing to fear. The global market Cap will hit 200B by the end of the year and NEO will hit all time highs. Just hold or buy. Patience. It's to give you an opportunity to grow your stack, be thankful.
