It depends on what configuration you have, if you've got low hash power, you want to find new alt coins that are worthless or worth very little, get a lot of them and sit on them for a while until they get more popular. You can get a super high return from this method. If you have a good amount of hashing power (500kHs or more), it's worth considering the major coins that are less volatile and have less chance of doubling or tripling in price.
