I was just wondering if there were and particular websites or bloggers out there that you follow for finding out about good ICOs. I personally manually vet each and every ICO I come across but if there were some people I could follow that would help filter out the crap, that would be a massive time saver.
Thanks.

My own research, there are a lot of good websites and this forum is a good place to pick up some tips.
I would advise getting involved in a bounty system in a token you are interested in, that way you get to know everything about it.

I usually go here in this forum for ICO tips, I read a lot so I basically almost learn everything from here and in twitter too. I followed a couple of people there and did my own research about the tips they are saying if this certain ICO will be successful or not.

But I advise you not to rush into investing in the ICO right now, I see some ICO just want quick money for ICO that looks less good. You must be observant in choosing ICO to invest

I usually use: cryptocompare.com/ico & coingecko.com (their ICO section that is still in beta) For details about past (especially the successful), current & upcoming ICOs & then do my own due diligence homework to study/analyse the good ones

You can follow venture capital funds, most of them announce their investments immediately, and for sure they are experienced investors, they invest after doing deep due diligence.

I usually visit these sites: http://icorating.com/, http://www.toptenreviews.com/, and https://www.cryptocompare.com in order to see and evaluate the general picture of an ICO project. At the same time, I conduct the due diligence about the ICO itself to minimize the possible risks to the fullest extent. Also, there is a lot of useful visual information on Youtube.

Most review sites are paid. Popular Youtubers talking about ICOs have no clue on evaluating the long term potential of businesses. Maybe you'll catch a few quick P&D's, but you're best off continuing to do your own diligence.

I agree with this. In the end it will pay off if you try to filter the ICOs by yourself. Another source I can suggest is Reddit (/r/icocrypto)

+1 on CrushCrypto. They do a really nice job of analyzing ICO's, but it would be nice if they could cover more tokens.

I go to the project's website more than what I see on ICO trackers and websites. I also read their whitepapers. I look at their team and each member.Publications such as Forbes, cointelegraph, and others are also reliable sources although kind of easily accessed by so many ICOs nowadays. I don't know why.

There are too many in the internet.
I may consider crushcrypto.com
However please consider as your second opinion.
Do not forget to do own research.

icobench.com has a 1 - 5 point rating system for icos. The altcoin forums on bitcointalk including its ANN thread are a good resource too.

Aside from altcoin area I would recommend checking out CoreMedia.info At least once daily. We always have updates and awesome stories on projects that we research for the our readers. It's updated multiple times daily and is part of the best group of connected crypto individuals. Come see!

I do not go anywhere for ICO tips. I do not trust any media outlet because they are all paid to publish. If I do read something, I read it only because of the topic and the content if it is interesting. Does not matter if it comes from Forbes or from this forum. Then I make my own decision, depending on how much information I can verify.

I say I go for multiple sources but the first place I go to is in this site. I weigh in opinions of others and do my own research too. I think that's enough rather than depend on only one source.

Better hit the ICO page first and read the full website and white paper. :-)
Analysing it yourself creates a sense of knowledge about the different patterns and work method of ICO. This is important while choosing your next ICO and investment. Yeah it's always good to get extra information from other supportive sites but who knows some of them might be just publishing it and doing nothing much.
Why go anywhere else when you can access the whole idea about the ICO through the white paper and their announcement section itself. Try it once and you will start understanding the ICO model easily.
