Hi everyone,

I want to use Electrum for LTC, but I want to make sure that:

- it is approved and trusted by the LTC community
- that there's a page on litecoin.org that lists it as a wallet option, with corresponding link

All I can really find is a listing on duckduckgo.com or forum posts saying that it's ok. I'm not convinced!

It would also be good if there was a page on litecoin.org that listed ALL the trustworthy wallet options available. Am I missing something? (I have poor eyes, so this is a possibility.)

If you will visit https://litecoin.org/#download you will see Electrum Litecoin there listed with other supported wallets. Maybe it's your eyesight indeed or you missed checking the download page. I don't have a personal experience since I am not holding LTC but I've seen several positive reviews and recommendations about it here in the forum.

Some reviews and recommendations:

I have hold before a few litecoins but I sold everyone of them once the price got up to 60-70 USD for a coin. I hold them in Electrum-LTC and they stayed there quite for some time until the price were improved considerably that forced me to sell them and make some profit.

It is as reliable as Electrum for Bitcoin is ,which in other words it means it is as perfect as Electrum for Bitcoin. I recommend it as the best LTC wallet to date.

I recommend you to check this website[1] whenever you want to find out some reliable wallets for the major cryptocurrencies.
You can filter those wallets by the supported cryptocurrencie by selecting the coin you want at the right of the page. This[2] is the one for Litecoin.

The shield indicates the security of the wallet. Green if you control your private keys or red if it's a web wallet - thus, not recommended.
