Is there any reason why the btc price is dropping again? Im keep checking the news and i cant find anything which could be the reason of a 200€+ drop in the last day...

Also, it looks like the bitcoin is always dropping fridays / over the weekend?
No price not always drop on fridays but there is some effect of weekend on price because many traders might cashout their profit for fiat to enjoy their  holiday.

Reason for current drop might be another round of fud which might surface soon, might be few internal trader have already cashed out before official announcement.

It's a combination of things:

1) Over the last year, the price has risen from under $1000 to around $5000. That is too high too fast, so a correction is due and is expected

2) The price of Bitcoin trends upward but is always volatile.

3) China has made statements treating to outlaw Bitcoin exchanges but no one knows what will happen and the exact motives behind the statements.

4) New investors get concerned when they hear banking professionals making negative statements about Bitcoin like we have heard recently.

These are just a few of the reasons. I don't think this drop is a permanent thing but keep in mind that Bitcoin is a high risk investment so we can never be sure what will happen.

Bitcoin is normal to drop and increase the price. Yes possible their cashing out their profit on weekend and most reason with the news of fudsters that bitcoin may drop the price. Well, if their is a bad news about bitcoin it may affect the price to dump.

There is a reason why bitcoin's price is dropping again and maybe this is the reason behind it. https://www.cnbc.com/2017/09/22/bitcoin-jpmorgans-jamie-dimon-lays-into-bitcoin-again.html

I hate to see charts on weekends now and I'm avoiding it in doing it to endure any pain seeing it.

As of now the price of bitcoin is already or decrease again at 3600 dollars . I think why bitcoin decrease because of china ban bitcoin but not offcial but theres have doubt in the mind of the investor so they sell their bitcoin. I suggest to those people have bitcoin in their wallet hold your bitcoin and for sure you will earn profit in the future. You can buy also bitcoin because the price is decreased.

There are few bad news regarding bitcoin acceptance in few countries and few people like Jamie Dimon who spreading the words against bitcoin. The situation in China still become the big question for all of us, due to the biggest mining pools are located in there and there are some people who stated; the government may ban bitcoin mining as well. I'm sure this down trend will be last until the end of this year, because there are some events that will affect bitcoin market such as OKcoin will be stop their services by the end of October and hard fork in November.

Same, until now I myself have not found the source of information "Why Btc prices down? ..."

Possibly, due to a decrease in Btc purchasing power or a decrease in Investors, this is a DISASTER for all of us, but this problem seems to be only temporary, something like this is common in various economic joints, such as trade, banking, and so on.
It would be nice if we remain optimistic to face this problem though a little painful.

Is there any reason why the btc price is dropping again?

yes it exists and the reason is this:

China's Miners on Tenterhooks as Exchanges Soon Shut

"
While there has been nothing officially done on the legality of Bitcoin mining, amid bans striking other parts of the cryptocurrency market such as ICOs and exchanges, there is still fear and uncertainty.

Miners in China have always managed to turn a profit, with the country’s low electricity cost and seemingly friendly approach to mining and cryptocurrency. However, as China takes a hard-nosed line to cryptos, miners are debating if it is a good business to be in.

Mining farms

China holds sway in terms of the hashrate for Bitcoin mining, and besides the more well known pools such as Antpool and F2Pool, they may be under threat if the crackdown continues.

The real issue is for those looking to capitalise on mining possibilities in China, as now that formerly lucrative business has a cloud hanging over it.

A recent example is that of Wang Hongyi who, as explained by the South China Morning Post, was looking to open a mining farm with over 1,000 computers in a remote corner of Northwest China.

If there's a pattern about price chart then, the trading will become more traditional. For sure the FUD over media is one of the main reasons why bitcoins suffer price downwards these days. As of now there's no concrete source or reasons behind that affect its price. Its a free market anything can happen. I hate selling assets in the market right, its so bloody and disappointing.

It went $3,800 and it started to land at $3,600 and no more falls so that this can be a very good stable price for bitcoin at the moment.

-snip-
So this is the reason now why the price is falling again? Is anyone here is mad at what Dimon's doing? He surely is the demon of crypto currency.

Not sure what exactly but imo it should be something to do with the fact that there are rumors going on that china is going to ban everything bitcoin related including mining and transacting on the network, and not just trading bitcoin.

This remains FUD and unconfirmed. I do not think that this has anything to do with Fridays/weekends.

Anyways, great time to load up a few coins if you have the fiat.

Recently the price has indeed been dropping close to the end of the weeks but that doesn't mean that it is a trend all the time. There is no justification for why markets should behave like this and should be just a coincidence.

There are articles saying that China may be banning miners, but on the other hand Charlie Lee is saying that this is completely false.

Uncertainty from China is the main driving force of this dump. I think price should be recovering soon.

we cant do nothing with this person but its he's way to make profits, just speculating about his stand maybe he's frustrated that he's business start being ruined or his part of the whale club which trying really crash the market and to hold more btc, its hard to predict where's direction will be heading but one
thing is for sure risk taker will take much bigger earnings in the long run if project succeed.

The recent decline on bitcoin prices is influenced by some news in China that can make many peoples panic / hastely on deciding to selling it. Well but we know given a bitcoin prices fluctuate over time, of course bitcoin prices will not continue to decline, many other things that could affect to bitcoin price can rising again for the next.

honestly you're going to see these kind of burps happen constantly as the bubble increases it's going to pull back when people take profit and regulations hit but at the end of the day it's always going to keep Rising there's far too much vested interest and far too much money being pumped into it for Bitcoin to ever take a meaningful dive below where it's at now, maybe back when it was in the Thousand range and it was teetering on the edge of its all-time high it might have been possible but we've seen a Bitcoin that's above 3000 consistently and at this point there's really no going back it's just a matter of holding out for the cycle until we see 5,000 stable and then 10,000 stable just wait for the bubble folks it's going to burst eventually but it's one hell of a ride until then.

We had a massive correction, I think. Spreading of FUD the main cause as some uneducated trader have a panic sale! Be smart, don't panic, stay rational and enjoy this opportunity.

Has nothing to do with weekends. It's just normal market activity and perhaps a bit of panic selling from traders that believed in the rumors that the Chinese government was going to ban miners and the bitcoin network after they ban the exchanges.

It's not a big drop, only like $200 or so.

I don't think you should worry about it too much. Price should recover at least to $3800 if not $4000 or more(would require some strong bullish market, though) by the end of the month.

Indeed, if faced with price reductions and strong issues about negative news about bitcoin, it certainly will cause panic for any trader and investor who may not really understand about bitcoin, and will certainly lead to price reductions in bitcoins that result in unbalanced sales transactions.

Mainly because people are panicking over the entire situation in China. Most of which is obvious FUD and is completely unconfirmed(such as the rumors of the Chinese government banning miners in China).

Chinese exchanges are still trading below western exchanges which means that people want to get out in China right now, and is one of the causes of this dump.

Anyways, price has stabilize quite a bit and right now is holding up nicely at $3700. I expect it to make a recovery to $4000.
