Private key constructed from DNA

Whoa guys, whoa. What if our own blood was where we store our private key. The DNA code is put through a processor that is scrambled. Once that happens that scrambled data is then converted into a private key from which we can get a public address. That public address is how you can receive payment from others such as your workplace.

So when ever you want to purchase something at a store you just prick your finger and boom. You can purchase those items. If your private key ever gets compromised for whatever reason you can always use a different scrambler to bring out a different result. You could even use the scrambler to use certain parts of your DNA that are similar to your relatives. This way, you can have family money that people in your family can earn and use interchangeably.

A retinal scan might be easier because that would be a lot harder for someone to steal your money. With the DNA thing, someone might take a hair from your head and steal all your money. With the retinal scanner though, you wouldn't be able to have multiple users for a single address. If both were combined though then cool.

Retinal scan could be too much of a headache. Maybe facial recognition mixed with DNA to get an okay. Facial recognition to verify it is you. DNA for the private key. Well I guess all of the members of your family could get a joint account where multiple keys are on it. The problem with that is it would probably be more centralized.

Just a jumbled idea, but it could be cool. Not recommended for career sperm donors. Little you's from all over the world would have access to your money.

next time you go to a coffee shop, a restaurant or simply walk in the street anyone can take a sample of your DNA (saliva on the cup, hair,...) and viola they have all your money.

So when ever you want to purchase something at a store you just prick your finger and boom.

With the retinal scanner though, you wouldn't be able to have multiple users for a single address.

bitcoin wallets will become super expensive and big to carry around then. not to mention unsafe.

Facial recognition to verify it is you.

I think that biometric key using fingerprints might be the only one safe and simple variations of key access if you are talking about bodyparts and anything connected to it.

The idea is cool but you can become a target crime. If you have a huge BTC hidden in your blood. Any one could steal your money by getting dna from your saliva, hair, semen and blood. The idea is not good afterall.

i believe this has been discussed multiple times already to somehow use DNA with private keys or something like that. each time the topics discuss similar or different things. do a little search.

Even biometrics is not 100% safe.
Suppose you go somewhere and a scammer realises you have 1000 Btc and he just needs your fingerprint so what will happen? You eat or touch anything he can collect your fingerprint from that place I know I went too far but just an assumption

the reason bitcoin is safe, is because the only thing transmitted to a retailer is a UNIQUE tx which has a unique signature..

going to a store and handing them your dna/retina for a scrambler to then sign a tx is stupid. as the scanner then holds your dna.
this is the same foolishness as credit cards. you are handing over your identity with the 'hope' your details wont be re-used.

sorry but finger pricking blood sampling at a retailer is bad, not just for the reason above but also for hygiene, convenience..
we are in a day of 'touchless technology' yet the op wants to think putting a finger inside a scanner thousands of people touch daily is a innovation?.. um nope

an innovation is a mobile wallet that stores only 11 of the 12 passphrase seed and the user types in the last passphrase as a confirmation password. a tx is then signed and the unique tx is sent to the retailer.

biometrics has been discussed at length before. humans only have a limited amount of bio data which lasts them for life. (much like a social security number lasts for life) once compromised.. their screwed
