hello everyone

i wonder if anyone can share some light as to how i can install 3 to 4 GPU with risers on this motherboard
i was able to install two directly on it on the PCIe 3.0 ports and one with a riser because there is no space in between (this worked)

...the reason i want to install them with risers is because the two plugged in directly to the mother board are getting too hot for my liking. the problem is that when i tried installing with risers the computer only recognizes two of them.
...and this is where i got stock.

any help will be appreciated

If you're ever going with multiple GPUs in your system, you're better off using risers always. First, check if the risers are problematic. Switch the working risers with the other one and see if they work. If all four are alright. Head to bios settings and change the PCIe lane speed of x16 and x1 lane to GEN1 for all the slots. That should probably do the trick.
