I have couple questions about solo mining,
Is there a full guide how to setup solomining?
Whats the profit from there? 50BTC if you solve a block and if you dont, 0?

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

correct. use http://www.alloscomp.com/bitcoin/old_calculator.php to calculate your odds.

It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

We generally advise against solo mining if you have less than ~10GHash/s (Over $3000 worth of equipment). Unless you have those kind of resources at your disposal, you should definitely consider joining a pool. You could use a simple program like GUIMiner to mine by yourself or in a pool.

BTC (Bitcoin) mining, join a pool. Nevermind probability, lady luck with ensure you go nuts trying to find a block with anything short of a serious farm. I think someone said 10Ghash/s... well, lol, is all I can say

NMC (Namecoin) mining, join a pool for now, but come the next difficulty adjustment your soloing will pay off well.
Actually, don't bother with NMC mining. Price is dropping, and BTC mining is still more profitable.... just

You'll find info on how to solo mine in there. I got in on The Great NMC Run... my own name for it.... infact I was there a week before the rush.... and done very well, thank you Smiley

NMC n BTC Difficulty

Keep an eye on that to see which might be best to mine, BTC or NMC

I think that's enough posting for me... time to chill with a beer and a *ahem* while I watch some telly Smiley

One more question, is a bigger pool better or a smaller one?
Because atm I'm mining from Deepbit.
