Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

I don't know but it may be. I don't think buying ethereum through cash from someone is safe. Always try to buy from exchanges like coinbase if your country is supported.

Ethereum as second highest marketcap coin has become very popular.  I am wondering if there is a site similar to localbitcoin I can use for it.
At this time, there is not.
Not sure the asking is real for such services : the public for Ethereum is very few if ypu compare to Bitcoin.
For 100 people who know Bitcoin, there is 1 or 2 people only who knows Ethereum.

Bitcoin + privacy respect = BitcoinZ (topic BitcoinZ)
The only decentralized crypto that complements Bitcoin on privacy.
You missed Bitcoin in 2009 ? Do not miss BitcoinZ in 2018 !

It seems there is not, this could be because of lack of demand but if there is demand then you already got an idea to make money op, create a local ethereum and if you are successful you could make a lot of money that way in a relatively short amount of time.

More than one actually.

Please check out Ethbits Local - "Ethbits local borrows LocalBitcoin’s concept of facilitating face-to-face trades of cryptocurrency for fiat currency and adapts it to Ether, but with a lower transaction fee."

https://www.smithandcrown.com/sale/ethbits-local/

WHat is the other one? Thea re doining/just finished their ICO?

Not yet. So far the only thing that you could do is exchanging your Ethereum to Bitcoin and using Local Bitcoin.
