I have a question to the users, who are frequent participants of bounty campaigns. By analyzing data from several ICO and bounty campaigns we worked on we came to conclusion that almost 40% of participants end up buying tokens. This is based on results of 5 ICOs.
Do any bounty managers in here noticed this trend? It means a lot to ICO industry as it actually puts Bounty Campaigns on top above other marketing initiatives. Would love to hear your thoughts

Usually those who like to trade in altcoins and have successful winning strategies, may often like to buy tokens. However everyone is not benefitted by profits from every ico. It depends how much the idea of ico is constructive. A successful trader analyse whole concept of an ico before buying tokens to estimate his returns.

There are some bounty participants who do buy tokens especially in the PRE-ICO but as far as I know, the only ones buying those tokens are those participants who have enough savings from their bounty and recycle the reward they got from joining the campaigns and investing them in ICO tokens. I know around 25% of my friends who does this.

Not all bounty participants are buying the tokens which they are advertising. Only those who believes in the project are buying and holding it. Bounty participants are dumpers they dont know what is the real value of the token.

I think, when I first entered this scene, you would often see bounty participants also going into the ICOs to invest themselves. I was one of these, very early on. It made sense to us, support the project you like, get paid in the tokens that you will also buy during the ICOs, so you have a hefty sum of tokens to show for it. But then we suffered when there were other bounty hunters with a lot more stakes, who never participated in ICOs and just dumped everything. I got burnt, so unfortunately, have stayed away from bounties and ICOs for more than half a year now. I recall others in my shoes also doing the same. Hard to forget.

After the distribution of bounties, some of the bounty hunters would immediately dump their coins for various reasons that's why its price would be below the ICO price and maybe it would take months for the price to recover and then shoot up if more people will buy the coin. The team behind the ICOs knew this that's why some of them advise the investors of the possibility of the price to dip at the beginning and then wait for some time for the price to go up. Being an active bounty hunter, I don't immediately dump the coins that I receive because I believe it will fold in price in the next few months. It is also the best time to buy the coins when the bounty hunters dump their rewards.

It's vary from people to people. I think you will not be able to collect reliable statistic. For example, I'm joining only campaigns I like and most of the time I also buy tokens. But only in pre-ICO phase and I'm using one email/ETH for my bounties and completely different email/ETH for my token investments.

yeah right, majority of bounty participants that come here in bitcointalk.org forum are mostly poor and will only join a bounty campaign just to get a reward token and coins. however you can still possible to earn without spending a single dime and infact most earners here are not actually an investor. although it is still a good idea and strategy to buy and invest while at the same time joining their bounty to be able to accumulate much more token/coins. investing in an ico has also an advantage rather than joining in a bounty because they can get a huge discount and bonuses.

They deserve to be rewarded with it, and they work not because he is poor but they have the ability to work well.

I think that it depends on the company itself, if the bounty gives an opportunity to earn and the instructions describe the approximate cost of the tokens after entering the exchange, then I'm sure that many buy, if the bounty is not transparent, and the organizers hide information, it repels investors

I bought two times and was satisfied, they grew well and I sold them on time, I think that the bounty participants do not often buy the tokens themselves, it's enough for them that they are given for the fate in the bounty
