What could be the percentage of people around the world, who knew or care about Bitcoin right now?? I have got this doubt because till last month I did not knew/ care about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, I am into stock market trading since last 7 years, and I still wondering how did I ignored or didn't heard about Bitcoin?

Know the word - a huge amount. It's been in the media for many years now.

Understand what it actually is - a piddly amount. I get the feeling no shortage of people who took the trouble to sign up and post here actually understand what it is.

Care about it - even fewer. A handful of millions at the very most.
