I would like to buy my first bitcoins by direct debit, but I'd prefer not to do the verification process, at least initially.
Is there a website that allows that?

Credit cards are high risk payment methods as they can be charged back. Why wouldn't you like to undergo a verification process? Even the most basic form of verification? Is it because the card is not yours? Or perhaps you don't own the card?
Unverified card-not-present transactions are extremely rare. Most merchants are very cautious and will not part with their goods (in this case, bitcoins) unless they are definitely certain that funds are cleared and good. Disputing a chargeback is heavy work, especially if you have a stubborn scammer working on the other end.
If you find a brick and mortar location where someone sells bitcoins and accepts credit card payments, then this is the only way you can do this without verification. That's because the merchant can sight the card and settle the transaction on the terminal before you have a chance to do something fishy.
As for online options, I doubt there are any. If you do find one or two, beware. You might not get any bitcoins and instead you will see suspicious amounts debited from your card in the future.
