The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

I don't doubt it, these block rewards at the beginning that devs setup is pretty horrific

No pre-mine. If you call that an insta-mine, then it is still going on. We are still at the bonus blocks stage after 3 days. The slowest insta-mine in the history of alt coins.  Tongue

Full disclosure: After release, I CPU mined with one PC to keep the network going. I got around 100 of the frst 500 blocks. After about 12 hours I started GPU mining on a single GPU.

if you give away some of those coins you may get some interest  Grin

If i had a few thousand i'd be a very active supporter to get some development and adoption, even exchanges would get spammed by requests.

To install the qt-client: Download the zip file and extract into a folder on your desktop. Then run the ezcoin-qt.exe file.

Here is a guide to solo-mining Litecoin, it will be similar for Ezcoin:

I'm getting a 50% invalid share rate at Tyrion's pool. Is that normal because of low difficulty or should I add some parameters to the .bat file for cgminer ?

EDIT : I'm also located in .nl so latency should be great.

What's your scan/expiry times? I'm currently using 5 seconds. Queue 0.
